who thinks spider-man 2 is the best?

As much as I loved the symbiote story, and all the other arcs in Spider-man 3; I will honestly say that Spider-man 2 was the best movie. It's one where, everytime you watch it, you still find hidden story elements; while in SM3, I feel that I already completely understand everything that happened.

Spider-Man 2 was one of the best comic book films I've ever seen, and Sam raimi got so much right I thought he would have a hard time topping it
Spider-Man 3 proved that he couldn't top Spider-Man 2, it just fails on every level, Tobey maguire looks so uninterested, Kirsten dunst is the same and I never really liked her in the Mary Jane role anyway. What a waste of gwen stacey? Sandman? why there are so many better Spider-Man villains and Venom, WTF? dont think he was right at all, I thought Topher Grace wasnt a bad choice but the character is so flawed, I think that he was made out to be a joke, he shouldve been scary plus Spiderman in the black costume was an unvelievably bad joke. Dont even get me started on Nightstalker-shaker whatvever he is called. Sam Raimi f**ked up big-time. If his heart wasnt in it he shouldnt have made it.

Spider-Man 2 is the best comic movie ever made. Period. It trumps all the Superman, Batman, and X-Men films. It has the perfect mix of angst, drama, and action....along with the most breathaking fight sequence in a comic film.

I can fully believe that Spider-Man 2 is the greatest superhero movie of all time. It has great action, great plot, and excellent character development (without going over-the-top like in SM3).

However, I have a feeling that might change soon. I think The Dark Knight will give Spidey a run for his money, but we'll just wait and see.
