Infinity War Who will die in Infinity war Part 1 and 2

Notice the SHIELD Logo on Tony's Shirt. I'm guessing Alternate Reality. Tony Wore a Black Sabbath T-Shirt in Avengers 1. That then leads to: How many of the existing films will this one nullify?

[BLACKOUT]Assuming they lose in IW, probably just a good majority of IW (like half the universe dying, maybe some major deaths, etc). I don't see them retconning a whole bunch of films. That will just lead to messy continuity for people to follow later[/blackout]

Then Maybe IFW1 ends kind of like the middle of BTTF 2 where Bif takes the Greys Sports Almanac to 1955, changes 1985.

IFW 2 opens in the alternate timeline and Scott then tries to alter things to be more like the the timeline he knows. IFW2 ends with a more "normal" timeline. Otherwise you can't watch the Spider-man and Black Panther series of films without IFW1/2

They won't even give Hawkeye his real costume but you think a giant floating genie who can defeat Thanos without blinking his eyes would be fine.

The MCU really hasn't shied away from the more campy side of Marvel. They made Ant-Man... and he had a pet ant! Strange played a battle of wits with Dormammu. Drax asked Ego, a planet whom the MCU decided to make into a Celestial, if he had a penis. I don't see how this...

And the characters get different costumes in the films because a huge profit for Disney is selling those costumes to children and they have to be marketable designs. Target even has a fashion line of Disney inspired clothes for children, each 'season' inspired by what ever movie is big at the time, including Star Wars and Marvel stuff.

Besides, you're forgetting that the Living Tribunal didn't intervene with the events of Infinity Gauntlet, seeing what Thanos was doing as no different than war, which he considered the natural order of things. He only intervened when the use of the gauntlet began to make things unstable beyond the usual carnage that comes with an invading force taking over.

Plus Feige himself mentioned that phase four was going cosmic, and if you're going to include the multiverse, which it very much looks like they are, the Living Tribunal would be a great tool use, from a writing perspective, as sort of a bridge between the multiverse.

If phase 4 is going Cosmic, meeting the major entities (Lord Chaos, Master Order, Living Tribunal, Eternity, Infinity...maybe One Above All) makes sense. They're your major players. I am assuming when we meet Galactus, he will be a Celestial, like they made Ego.

Agreed! And the thought of Galactus as a Celestial is an interesting one. It's actually kind of fitting that he would be one.

If true (I still say he dies in the sequel to Infinity War) but it really should focus on the real Mandarin, and as with other MCU films of late, I would hope it isn't solely about Stark, and includes other characters; Vision maybe? If the Mandarin is using mystical elements, then maybe a short appearance by Doctor Strange? It's too early to speculate yet, and, as stated, I'm pretty sure he's out at the conclusion of Infinity War 2.

Edit: Or, if they've got the rights, maybe have someone like Norman Osborn as the villain, depending on whether there are plans to use him in a Homecoming sequel.

Have some faith in Marvel. If they can sell a talking Raccoon, they can sell anything. :)

I'm going with Gamora dying in IW. Zoe is credited last and Gamora is nowhere to be seen post the Collector's place. Peter, Drax, Mantis and Nebula are seen on Titan but Gamora hasn't been featured in anything that I've seen beyond the Guardians meeting Thor and them being on Knowhere.

I have complete faith that whatever Marvel do they will portray it in a way that appeals to both comic book and general fans. They have a good track record. I'm just not in favour of omnipotent, omnipresent God-like characters.

It's evident we're not going to come to an agreement on this, as I, as a viewer, would love to see the Living Tribunal, so I will just say, I'm sorry you feel that way. He was an Easter Egg in Strange, therefore there is the potential to bring him in at any time. If they do bring him in (and to be clear I never said definitively they were, just mentioned it as a possibility, I love to theorize) then you're absolutely free, of course, to opt out of that film and any film thereafter that uses him. Vote with your dollars. Simple as that.

Just don't kill off War Machine or Falcon. :sly:

I don't want this to be like the first 4 seasons of The Walking Dead in which they would kill off a Black character an episode or 2 after introducing a new Black character. Of course a coincidence, but quite puzzling.

I noticed that, too, in Walking Dead. Troubling.

Dude, yeah! My husband and I noticed that, too. Isn't there some horror flick cliche that the person of color gets killed off immediately? :P

Anyway, sorry to go off topic.

Not only true, but that's also real life :csad::csad::csad:

but yeah it's a huge cliche. usually only 1 Black person in a horror film and they tend to be stereotypically written. Not so much the first to be killed off, but they never make it to the end.

Yeah. She is gone.

I wonder who else goes besides her and Loki

I'll like to think about one interview in which Mark Ruffalo accidentally said "Wait for the next one, everybody dies"

Well everyone cannot die, someone needs to be there to start fixing what happened in A4

Loki, Falcon,Vision die in Part 1
IronMan in Part 2.

To me, Nebula and Loki are almost a given that they're going to die.

I don't know which of the heroes are going to die. Vision is very possible, IMO. Maybe Hawkeye or Widow as well.

And I can't see Marvel killing off BOTH Cap and Iron Man. Maybe one or the other, but not both.

From the latest tv spot its basically confirmed loki is dead.

Not that much of suprise, everyone expected hiddlestone to bow out.

Personally for me, as good as hiddlestons performances are, loki has had way too much screen time so its about time he goes. I don't think hes ever been that great a villain.
