Who will the next big bad be?

If it is feasible(and I'm not sure given the rights issues to many characters), I'd say I'd like an adaption of the Beyonder/Secret Wars and Secret Wars 2 story arcs kind of like how Infinity War caps this 20 film arc off. So it'll take to 2030 to get there maybe but along the way you can have Kang and the MoE and other such stuff established so that when Secret Wars rolls around you have a virtual army of superheroes fighting an army of supervillains. Hell, even dead ones like Iron Monger can get brought back by the power of the Beyonder simply to take part in the war.

On my list? Since Fox won't let Marvel get near their precious F4 or X-Men.

1. Masters of Evil
2. Ego
3. Surtur
4. Attuma
5. Red Hulk
6. A Returning Ultron

Honorable Mentions:
-Hulk...Gone World Breaker

I vote for Kang or Mephisto. Dracula is also an option.
With Norman Osborn/Green Goblin as the major threat like Loki was.

Phase IV: World War Hulk
Phase V: Secret Invasion
Phase VI: Krull Invasion

The main story arc for the 3 Phases as a whole would be the Kree-Skrull war and how the Earth ended up being targeted by various alien civilizations due to their growing power, that would also keep the cosmic heroes quite busy.

If after this, Marvel didn't get Galactus back yet, they could try doing Kang. If 3 phases was stretching the Kree-Skrull conflict, then the Skrull and Kree storylines could be mixed in a single phase, and one of the remaining phases could be given to the Beyonder or Korvac.

It would also be cool to see Namor or Attuma invading a major city, but that would most likely not need an entire Phase of build-up, expecialy after what we've already seen.

So namor will replace loki as the major threat? I rooting more for norman osborn

If you ask me, there's now only one choice for the next "big bad", or at least Loki's successor as lead-in threat:

Yeah Dark Avengers would be cool but knowing Sony and their stupid need to make crappy spinoffs that won't likely happen either.

The real Mandarin could still sit in for Doom if the update is done right.

You mean like the Registration Act backfires hard?

It's a goddamned shame that Marvel can't use Doom. The possibilities...

My guess is they will use the Celestials in the next huge crossover movie. They'll do a deal with the Titan out of desperation.

Annihilus could also work. Assuming Fox doesn't own the rights.

Yeah, with Spider-Man getting integrated I suspect they are setting up Norman Osborn as a major antagonist at some point, leading into a Dark Reign scenario. As far as other giant threats, I know Galactus may not be in play but Marvel likes to use teams as their major baddies, so maybe the Intelligencia or something.

Exactly...that's my most wanted villain for the MCU.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if the new faux-FF movie crashes and burns or not.

But in all seriousness, I feel like we'll have so many Avengers by Phase 4 that Marvel will hopefully keep them as two separate teams.

Just looking at Infinity War Part 1 being rumored to kill off the current cast and have a new team assemble to fight Thanos, it's obvious that Marvel has plenty of toys to play with.

My guess is that this will be Infinity War Part 1's roster after Thanos kills half the universe including everyone in Avengers Tower.

Captain America ---> Winter Soldier
Iron Man ---> War Machine
Thor ---> Doctor Strange
Hulk ---> Luke Cage
Black Widow ---> Mockingbird
Hawkeye ---> Falcon
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch ---> Ant-Man and the Wasp
Nick Fury ---> Spider-Man (as the guy who brings the new team together)
Vision is the only remaining member since he wasn't, "alive" to begin with.

Infinity War Part 2

Everybody from Age of Ultron and Infinity War Part 1 returns for Infinity War Part 2 but with Daredevil, Quake, Black Panther, Jessica Jones, Deathlok, Iron Fist and Captain Marvel all joining the Avengers to fight the Magus.

Then Inhumans happens and we get a new team to round out Phase 3.

Phase 4 should be a breather until the final film which is a massive punch to the gut. It would also feature more numerous Spider-Man films since Sony wants to make them and bump the schedule up to four films a year since Sony will be financing Spider-Man along with Venom, Silver Sable and Black Cat films. Films released in Q1 would be riskier ventures which wouldn't be scared of getting an R-rating, may introduce new characters or be somehow unconventional but would also rely on a lower budget. Sony films would also get the Q4 slot since there is no way that Marvel will let them hog their summer money.

Phase 4 should end with Kang defeated but as things return to normal, Norman Osborn is now the Director of SHIELD. Phase 5 should be dark Reign with Norman Osborn as the big bad and culminate with Siege.

Kang. He's my favorite Avengers villain but if not the Masters of Evil would be cool.

I also like to think it might be a version of Norman Osborn and the dark avengers.

Does marvel own the rights to henry gyrich? On second thought I think he may have popped up in an x-men movie at some point so maybe not.

Still, there's got to be someone who can fill that government role?
