Sequels Who Would Like To See Black Cat?

Who are you trying to confuse?Catwoman is iconic character who has decades of popularity over Black Cat. And Black Cat is a rip-off of Catwoman by all means, even today. :o

i guess you missed that catwoman is good now, major batman ally, and pretty much wears the same black cat costume (minus fur), and uses her breasts to get attention...

Selina Kyle Catwoman was awsome... but shes not catwoman anymore.. Catwoman to the test of time will always be known as a villain because of her... a batman love that bites back, and the all around badgirl, She uses her claws and whips to get what she wants...

Felicia Hardy-Black Cat will always be known through the test of time as spidey's greatest ally, who had a rocky start, She was never taken as a villain even in her early issues, Spidey never treated her as one. She's the flurt and reckless girl with a big heart she usually doesn't like to admit. And She uses her sex appeal to get what she wants...

The current catwoman, is a great ally, she's a hero, and uses her sexappeal to get what she wants... She's much more like black cat today then old catwoman

larter is the same age as tobey but i prefer estella

as i said before, elisha should have became a model, not an actress

edit: btw, black cat will still be the ''ripoff cat.'' But i agree, catwoman is alot more like black cat now, but catwoman will always be the original

my point is larter looks older... age doesnt matter in movies, its the look of there age they represent

I guess you missed that Catwoman has been an ally to Batman many times before this. Years before Black Cat was ever created. She's always switching sides to whichever suits her.

Anything, and I mean anything that Black Cat does, Catwoman has done before. Black Cat is, and always will be a cheap carbon copy of Catwoman.

To the starter of the thread.....I'd rather see Morlun in a Spidey movie than Black Kat!!...There..I said it..it had to be said!!

Black Cat was an official "good girl" ally before Catwoman... Catwoman was always the untrustable ally who'd always go back to crime (before her recent incarnation

Black cat is also spidey's most trusted ally and one of his mytho's most iconic characters

No, she wasn't. Batman and Catwoman were allies for the longest time. Even got engaged at one point. Catwoman was the good girl ally long before Black Cat was.

Black cat is also spidey's most trusted ally and one of his mytho's most iconic characters

So is Catwoman to Batman. So much so, that she's been reincarnated on screen in two movies, a TV show, and three cartoon series.

Wow...beg to differ....."beg" to differ.......whether you like it or not.....ask 100 non comic book readers who the Black Cat is, most would say I don't know, while the other few would muse "Batman's woman?.....The Green Golin is iconic, Doc Ock is iconic, Venom, although I personally don't like the character, is iconic....JJJ is iconic....Felicia Hardy is the antithesis of iconic....she's very forgetable....

Catwoman will always be known as Batmans top vixen villainess though

her new in carnation is boring

Felicia's been the same character since the begining and gotten more interesting over the years, Catwoman is always being reinvented and getting lamer and more forgetable then ever...

Catwoman needs to go back to being a bad girl.. she was much more iconic that way.

i never said catwoman wasn't iconic.. but anyone who knows spideys mythos knows her to be iconic...

btw catwoman is not batmans most trusted ally.... Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl/Oracle even superman... all come before she does

I never said you did? .....and I think I know my Spidey mythos and I wouldn't consider her iconic....b-list character yes...but iconic?

I know that.

But you're trying to claim the whole ally thing is unique to Black Cat. It's not. Catwoman's been there and done that many times. Along with the whole cat burglar motif, being a romantic interest for the hero, an athletic and sleek fighter etc.

All unique to Catwoman. Black Cat just mimicked it. The only difference between Black Cat and Catwoman is the the ridiculous bad luck powers, and the size of Black Cat's knockers :D

I know that.

. The only difference between Black Cat and Catwoman is the the ridiculous bad luck powers,

Wasn't it the Kingpin that bestowed that power on her....was the theory behind how that worked ever.....discussed? :)

Yes, Kingpin gave them to her. And she lost them again later on somehow. I don't know if the theorey behind them was ever discussed, though.

It's a Black Cat story. I didn't care what they were :cwink:

shes not an A-list character in marvel by any means... but her really being the only prominant female superheroine in the spidey mythos as well as being the heros greatest allies.. and one of the most re-occuring characters in his universe puts her up there in his own isolated book.

ally yes... "good girl" no.. her being a good girl is not a unique thing to catwoman. And ultimately not something she's known for, being an ally when the time calls for it though yes. But Catwoman is not widely known as a good girl.

ps. im not talking about uniqueness as if there the only ones who do it... im talking about what there genuinely known more for

Yeah, it's not unique now because Black Cat is mimicking it.

And ultimately not something she's known for, being an ally when the time calls for it though yes. But Catwoman is not widely known as a good girl.

That doesn't matter. They probably only made BC a full time good girl because the similarities between her and Catwoman are embarrasingly obvious.

The point is that the being on the side of the goodies is not unique to her. Catwoman's done it all before.

This probably gets down to semantics at the end.....perhaps my perception of what constitutes an icon is different than yours.....and although I agree with everything in the above paragraph, I don't believe those facts alone constitutes an icon....a staple yes

Gwen Stacy wasn't a prominant female superheroine, she's definately not one of the most re-occuring characters, she's not one of Spidey's greatest allies......but few can argue the iconic stature of Gwen Stacy in the Spidey mythos.....she's meant more to the Spidey character in death, than most, including BC, have meant in life. Do you really believe if Hardy died tomorrow, she'd be remembered 30 years from now?

again.. Catwoman (selina kyle) not the new excuse for a catwoman, was not a "good girl" she was always a "bag girl" ally yes... good girl no. she would team up with batman on several accounts... but could he ever trust her 100%? no..

thats what felicia is more known for... she'd die for spidey, and peters when he's ever in need, she will be there.

Gwens not Iconic for who she was though, she's iconic for her death... sure her death was substancial because she was peter love... But her death is what she's known for. And is and will always be iconic because it effected the whole comic industry... suddenly "no character" was safe. If gwen was not killed by a supervillain, or broke up with peter and was never seen again, she wouldn't be famous at all.

Now if Cat died she'd never have the effect of a gwen or even an MJ death but depending on how she died.. it could still be remembered

i think it makes her more interesting that she doesnt... lol, its more like, why does she still do the things she does.. etc..

I would say she needs some sort of powers if she is tangling with Spiderman or supervillains. What will she do scratch them.

umm well daredevil has no powers besides his heightened senses and "radar" and still tangles with villains.... elektra has none either

she does have gadgets though, and trained her self to be on par with an olympic gymnast

The Black Cat has also acquired several devices from the Tinkerer that increase her agility and heighten her strength. She wears earrings that interact with the balance centers of her brain to grant her enhanced agility. She has contact lenses that let her see in various ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum, such as infra-red and ultraviolet. Her costume contains micro-servos that enhance her strength above normal human levels. The gloves of her costume contain steel micro-filaments, which form retractable claws at the fingertips when she flexes her fingers (triggering a magnetic surge which condenses the filaments into polarized talons) which enable her to tear through most surfaces and easily scale walls. In addition to this the costume is extremely distracting and provocative (due to its skin-tight shape and plunging v-neck that exposes her cleavage), making it difficult for a male assailant to concentrate on what he is doing. Using this equipment the Black Cat has been able to successfully best enemies who have superhuman abilities.

The Black Cat has a miniature grappling hook device hidden in the "fur" of each glove, which enables her to swing from buildings in a manner similar to Spider-Man, though not quite as fast.

and trained her self to be on par with an olympic gymnast

Well...putting comics and cartoons aside for a minute let us talk about her in this movie. This sounds more like Batman's universe. And movie Daredevil needed no powers against the likes of Bullseye and Kingpin. They fit within his movie verse. As for Spiderman movies with Black Cat its cool she would have all that but I would still say super strengh via some formula fits nicely. She doesn't have to be Spiderman strong but some enhancement would be nice.
