In the vein of All Star Superman and the "go..."er All Star Batman series', who would be on the team? Who would write it? Draw it? What villian(s) would be in the first arc?

7 member limit!:super: ?:gl: ?:ww: ?:batty: ?

Well, this is my idea for an Ultimate League. Not really in the same vein of the All Stars out already, but it's different:

Volume one:

Roster: Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Captain Atom, Green Lantern (part timer), The Atom (tech support).

HQ: DEO Watchtower, sub levels.

Supporting characters (non members): DEO director Mister Bones, General Wade Eiling, Batman (and the Outsiders), Lucas "Snapper" Carr.

Villains: Dr. Destiny, The Queen of Fables, The Star Conquerer, General Zod, The Suicide Squad, The Men from N.O.W.H.E.R.E.

Story: With the sudden rise in metahuman activity in the United States, the Department of Extranormal Operations takes advantage of the situation by recruiting several highly powerful metahumans, some of whome have been active as crime fighters, as feild agents under Project: Justice. This program, in WWII, resulted in the fomration of the JSA. They recruit Superman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Green lantern. Do to GL's responsibilities as a space cop, he apears rarely. They are soon joined by the DEO's cheif scientific expert, Ray Palmer, and his assistant, Lucas Carr. The Military soon adds their resident superhuman soldier, Captain Nathaniel Adam, to the team. The team's job is basically to confront paranormal entities and happenings that are too dangerous for normal agents and kick their ass. Kind of like the B.P.R.D. in Hellboy, except more powerful.

Their first mission is dealing with a reportedly haunded house cursed by what the locals refer to as "The Queen of Fables." Supposedly, anyone who went into the house was killed in a manner resembling some fairy tale death. They are then confronted by the Queen, who was in colonial times a sorceress and serial killer who's house had been burned to the ground (with her in it) due to rather acurate charges of witchcraft and murder. The house that she haunts was build on the sitre of her former home. She is defeated with the combined psychic powers of Martian Manhunter and Aquaman. But, of course, there would be alot of cool fight scenes. SUperman would fight the Big Bad Wolf. Who would be about four stories tall.

Their next mission takes them to a small fishing village. All contact to the village had been cut off, and anyone who ventured into it dissapeared. When he team arrives, they discover that a giant, mutated, highly inteligent starf fish, which had dubbed itself the Star Conquerer, was responsible. The Star Conquerer's offspring were psychicly linked to it, and took control of the motof functions of whoever's face they atatched themselves to. J'onn and Orin enter a psychic duel with it, as two of the face huggers leach on to Superman and Captain Atom, and the others are forced to fight them. We then see a rather impressive battle between Superman and Wonder Woman, which ends when Wonder Woman kills the creature on Superman's face with her axe. Wonder Woman ends up dealing the final blow to the Star Conquerer, and all the face huggers die once their "queen" is dead.

Their next mission is in Gotham City. John Dee, a theif and schizophrenic being held in Arkham Asylum, amnifests powerful psychic abilities, and sucks the entire asylum into his own little dream world. His influence threatens to spread to the rest of the city if he goes unstopped. When the team arrives, they are joined by The Batman. They make their way through the mad house and Dee's illusions. However, the closer they are to Dee, the more influence over their minds he had. He momentairily ignores Batman and concentraits on the rest, nearly dominating their minds. Batman is forced to slit Dee's throat with a batarang, killing him. This, of course, will be a major moral dilema for Bruce in the Ultimate Batman solo series I have planned. Inspired by his learning of the League's existence, Batman then forms a team of his own, dubbed "The Outsiders." The roster consists of Black Lightning, Katana, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Geo Force, The Question, Blue Beetle, Metamorpho, and a rather relunctant John Constantine.

The next storyline would be a cross over with a story line in my Ultimate Superman idea. Refugees from the Kryptonian colony of Argo, which was almost wiped out when th dstruction of Krypton altered it's orbit and sent it further away from the sun, freezing the planet, follows the trail of Superman's ship to Earth. Their leader is General Dru Zod, formerly of the Kryptonian military, and his inner circle. They are his second in comand, Ursa, his cheif of security, Non, their cheif scientific officer, Jax-Ur, and the only real religious figure of the refugess, Preus. While apearing friendly and wanting to share their technologies with the people of the world, they isntead want to create a new Krypton on Earth. However, Krypton took centuries of political, social, and technological developement to reach the almost utopian state it had when it was destroyed. Zod and his people are not so patient, and want to create change through force. The Justice League side of the story deals with the various League members fighting Zod's inner circle and henchmen. Superman would fight Zod in his solo series. Eventually, the refugees are forced to leave Earth and find someplace else.

Their next mission has them searching for the Suicide Squad, who were last seen foghting alongside the League during the invasion and went missing shortly afterwards. The League finds that four of the members, The parasite, Deadshot, The Top, Plastique, and the Enchantress, have gone rogue and are holding their fellow Squad members, Nightshade and Peacemaker, hostage. This is one of the few stories where Green Lantern participates. In my Ultimate DC, I would generally portray GL being vastly more powerful than the other League members. However, things are evened out a bit due to The Parasite absorbing the energy from his constructs.

The final storyline of volume one would have the League discovering the existence of th Men from N.O.W.H.E.R.E., undead government agents who's sole purpose is to hunt down and exterminate what they see as "rogue metahumans" and other supernatural entities. They come to the League's atention when they try and kill the superhuman members of the Outsiders. The League fights them and, disgusted by what the DEO and Defense Department are capable of, break off from the DEO and, using Wonder Woman and Aquaman's influence, gain U.N. sponsorship.

I guess I'll post on Volume two later.

You said it all man...you said it all, now if only DC would look at this

And that's just volume one. Volume two, well, that just kicks it up all the way to 11.

Same as Q, I had an idea for an Ultimate League, so not necessarily an All-Star League. I'll probably write an accompanying fanfic to this outline one day.

Superman.gif

Kal-El of Krypton
Ambassador

The Planet Krypton did not explode, and as such, its inhabitants would live, including Jor-El and his family. Years later, he and his brother Zor-El attempt a flight to the planet Earth with an expiremental space-craft. Returning to Krypton a year later, they decide to take their families along (as well as some others) to the planet Earth and move in, to share their Kryptonian knowledge with the world.

Kal-El grows up in the city of New Kandor, a hidden city on Earth, fully aware of his Kryptonian heritage. Under the effects of the yellow sun he gains superpowers, and for a long time uses them to protect the city. Now, with the excistence of New Kandor revealed to the public at large, and an influx of Kryptonians who are re-locating, Kal-El has moved to a global perspective where he serves as the Ambassador of Krypton and New Kandor, and agreed to become the chairman of a UN-sanctioned Justice League.

Batman.gif

Bruce Wayne of Earth
Surgeon

Bruce Wayne's parents did not die, but instead were saved by the then-newly relocated Jor-El who, with the use of the powers he gained under the Earth's yellow sun, took a trip on the world, only to save the lives of the Waynes in Gotham City's Crime Alley.

Young Bruce Wayne would grow up to go to med-school, and studying under Dr. Charles McNider (former war-time superhero Doctor Mid-Nite) would become one of the best surgeons in the world. Once approached by CIA to perform surgery on some of its most secret operatives, Bruce Wayne became the target of a conspiracy to overthrow the government. Resorting to martial arts skills that he had picked up as a kid, Bruce Wayne also used his keen intellect and uncovered the entire scheme. Inspired by this deed and his mentor, Bruce Wayne created the identity of the Batman.

With the formation of the Justice League, Batman has unofficially become one of its members, the UN keeping his involvement a secret. Officially the Batman does not exist.

WonderWoman.gif

Diana of Themyscira
Ambassador

Diana of Themyscira is an Amazon, and serves as the female race's greatest warrior. After a short conflict between Themyscira and the UN, Wonder Woman agreed to join the Justice League and become the Amazon Ambassador.

She is a warrior at heart, and has found herself to feel strangely comfortable around men with a similar warrior spirit.

Aquaman1.jpg

Orin of Atlantis
Ambassador

Although bearing the curse of Kordax, the one known as Aquaman would return to his native Atlantis to rise as its rightful ruler. Seeing the decay and pollution of the waters, Aquaman has sometimes led missions of warfare to the surface land, but has mellowed after Atlantis joining the UN.

Orin serves to be the UN ambassador of Atlantis, and also keeps his part-time job as King of the waters, leaving most duties to his advisor Vulko. Of all the Justice Leaguers, he is the most absent, dividing his time between his kingship and his role as superhero.

GreenLantern.gif

Guy Gardner of Earth
Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814

When Abin Sur crashlanded to Earth, he sent his ring out to choose a worthy succesor. Social worker Guy Gardner was closest, and was picked to become the new Green Lantern. After training on Oa, Guy returned to Earth, and has since acted as the only 'legitimate' superhero on the planet, serving not only the UN but also the Guardians of Oa.

Forsaking his secret identity, Guy has become one of the most promising Green Lanterns, dividing his time between the Justice League and his Green Lantern duties, spending a lot of time off-world for both groups, either protecting other planets or doing monitor-duty.

Flash.gif

Barry Allen of Earth
Police scientist

It was inevitable. One of Krypton's scientists found a human/kryptonian hybrid to be possible, and as an experiment injected various pregnant mothers with a strange mix of Kryptonian genes. Of all infected, it would be only Barry Allen's mother that would survive and produce offspring.

Inheriting the superspeed that came natural to Kryptonians under a yellow sun, Barry Allen broke all speed records but sought his refuge in police work, becoming a scientist. Eventually his powers matured, to even surpass those Kryptonians that had been around longer than him. He truly became the fastest man alive.

Seeing a potential to do good, and inspired by the war-time hero Jay Garrick (the first Flash), Barry Allen followed in those footsteps and became the second Flash.

MartianManhunter.gif

J'onn J'onzz of Mars

If the existence of the Batman is classified, the Martian Manhunter's even moreso. Arriving on Earth after his planet's destruction, J'onn assimilated himself into Earth Culture, adopting the identity of John Jones. Ultimately, he would be captured by the government, and was used as a mass-telepathic tool, serving as a large information-broker.

With the formation of the Justice League, J'onn has served as the team's co-ordinator, and has helped them out on some adventures, unbeknownst to them. Even to the Justice League, the full extent of his existence remains a secret.

Volume 1 outline

New Kandor is growing and growing. More and more Kryptonians are travelling to Earth, and the population keeps increasing by the day. While Jor-El, acting as the ruler of New Kandor, must contemplate what to do with this influx, his son, is fighting alongside the League against the Appellaxan invasion.

Seven aliens have come from the heavens in order to use the Earth as battleground for their power struggle. With the Justice League already formed, the Appellaxans are quickly taken care of and an alien invasion is averted. The League is heralded all over the world, except in the Metropolis offices of Lex Luthor.

Seeing that, although an Appelaxan crisis has been averted, the steadying influx of Kryptonians can not be a good sign, Lex Luthor starts to openly discredit the League, and creates his own counter-organisation. K.R.Y.P.T.O.N.I.T.E. is formed, as a public group that oppose the coming of the Kryptonians. The group is funded mostly by the elite of society, amongst them Lex Luthor, Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne, who all openly wear a black bandana with a red K on it.

After another succesful mission with the League, Superman is bombarded with questions by the press, as well as a group of protestors who do not stick to only throwing questions at him. Although he is openly defended by the other public members of the League, it is to no avail, as the anti-Krypton movements gain in members by the day, as fear for other superpowered Kryptonians grows.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne struggles with his place amongst the League. Openly funding K.R.Y.P.T.O.N.I.T.E. while working alongside Superman is leaving him in unrest, and he eventually decides to travel to New Kandor. There, he stumbles upon three Kryptonians, obvious criminals, who have figured out means of getting powers on the planet, and are using solar technology to do so.

Returning to the League, Batman rallies them to prepare for the three Kryptonians, and his already fragile alliance with Superman has crumbled. Eventually, after a League meeting, Superman stays behind, using his X-Ray vision, finding out Bruce's true identity.

"Bruce, how can you support that group?"
"Considering you just proved my point, how can I not?"

Finally, sufficiently powered, the three Kryptonians start to wreak havoc on the planet, and the League is called in to take care of them. Meanwhile, Jor-El has decided that his actions have brought this upon Earth, and that ultimately, it's his responsibility. He starts to prepare for the evacuation of New Kandor, and for its citizens to return to Krypton.

The battle with the three Kryptonians is fought across the world, as Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern are narrowly able to defend themselves against their combined powers. The recent tensions with the Anti-Kryptonian movement has had its effect on the group, and they work less as a team.

While the League fights the Kryptonians, Bruce has once more travelled to New Kandor, in search of a way to take out the criminals. There, he finds Jor-El's own diary, and in it, it is revealed how Jor-El saved the lives of Martha and Thomas Wayne, and his sadness at seeing Bruce funding K.R.Y.P.T.O.N.I.T.E.

Seeing the error of his ways, the Batman arrives on the battle, and is able to use a drainer of solar energy to sap the powers of the Kryptonians. In the moment however, a young reporter called Jimmy Olsen is able to photograph the Batman. While the battle was fought however, New Kandor has been evacuated. Waiting for his son on a hill top nearby New Kandor, is Jor-El.

The departure of the Kryptonians has gone past Kal-El, who has been in continious hiding from the public, and later, fighting the criminals. Batman points him to where Jor-El is. Kal-El intends to travel back with his family too Krypton, but Jor-El urges him to stay, and prove that not all Kryptonians are criminals.

One month later, the League has all but been disbanded:
- Superman remains sitting on that hill-top, looking at the stars.
- The existence of the Batman is now public, but has been declared dead by the government. Bruce Wayne has been spending a lot of time with his parents.
- Guy Gardner has decided to leave Earth and patrol his sector.
- Aquaman returns to Atlantis, seeing how the surface people can quickly turn against its heroes, and outsiders.
- Wonder Woman and Flash (as well as the Martian Manhunter) remain in the service of the UN.

The Question said:
And that's just volume one. Volume two, well, that just kicks it up all the way to 11.
I just found my writer for my dream book!

Volume two:

Roster: Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Captain Atom, The Atom (tech support), Green Lantern (part timer), The Knight, Fire, Dr. Light, Rocket Red, Zatanna, Power Girl, Crimson Fox, Vixen, Dr. Mist, Ice, Kuei, Thunder, Lightning, Tazmanian Devil, Red Tornado, and Jack O' Lantern.

HQ: The Fortress of Solitude.

Supporting characters (non members): Lucas "Snapper" Carr, King Faraday, the White King of Checkmate (and thus the rest of the Checkmate organization), Lex Luthor, Captain Marvel, and The Outsiders.

Villains: Grodd, T.O. Morrow, Professor Ivo, Amazo, Dr. Sivana, Mordru, Mongul, Darkseid and his inner circle.

Story: The team has now gained full U.N. sponsorship. Their purpose is the same as it was origionally: When weird stuff is hurting people, they beat it up. Except, now their scope is more global, and as a condiction for their sponsorship, several members from other countries have been added. Another adition is Power Girl, a woman who was cloned from samples of Kryptonian DNA left over from the invasion by Lexcorp. To symbolize that the team owes aleigence to no one nation, their base is the Fortress of Solitude, recently deiscovered by Superman, which is located at the North Pole. Due to the team's size, it's feild team roster changes depending on the situation.

The team's first mission in volume two involves Grodd and Gorilla city. For some time, the world governments have been aware of a small society of genetic cousins to humans who evolved from jutated Apes living in the heart of Africa. Because this society has kept to itself mostly, and it's technological resources are advanced in some areas but overall behind the curb, they have been left alone. However, recently, a fascist militant leader named Grodd and led a coup against his government and has led forces into neighboring African countries. The feild team for this mission is Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Vixen, Dr. Mist, and Captain Atom.

The next story involves Thomas Oscar Morrow and Anthony Ivo, two scientific geniuses and psychotic criminals. Morrow seaks to gain ultimate knowlege, and to use this knowlege to commit crimes and gain political and economic power. Ivo, on the other hand, is obsessed with achieving immortality, and has commited several heinous genetic experiments to this end. The two have foirmed an alliance, in hopes of acheiving their goals. They have created two androids, Morrow's "Red Tornado," and Ivo's "Amazo." Amazo is capable of scanning any person or thing it comes in contact with and copying it's properties. While not as physically advanced, Red Tornado possesses much greater mental capablities, having what Morrow claims to be an "artificial soul." Ivo and Morrow then kidnap an entity known only as The Phantom Stranger to find the answers they seek. The League is alerted to this by Zatanna and Dr. Mist, who sense a psychic disturbance now that the Stranger is in pain. The feild team for this mission is Zatanna, Dr. Mist, The Atom, Wonder Woman, Kuei, and Aquaman. Ivo and Morrow are defeated when Red Tornado betrays then and joins the League, and The Atom crawls inside and deactivates Amazo.

The next mission has Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Kuei going to China. Recently, the Chinese government discovered an alien refugee from a conquered world named Mongul, who came to Earth to escape the tyrany of his homeworld. However, it is soon revealed that Mongul is not on the run from a fascist dictatorship, but a deposed fascist dictator. He leads the impovershed of China in a coup against the government, mirroring the cultural revolution slightly. While J'onn and Kuei deal with the revolutionaries, Superman takes on Mongul, leading to a huge brawl between the two across the Himalayas. Near the end, Mongul is caught in a rock slide, and combined with the injuries he received fighting Superman, dies. With his final breaths, he explains that it was not his people who deposed him, but an invading force. A force that may very well be coming to Earth. When Superman asks what theis force is, all Mongul manages to say before Death takes him is "Darkseid."

The next story does not directly feature the League at all, but instead the Outsiders. Batman discovers that The Knight and Jack O' Lantern are spying on the League members on behalf of the U.N. security council. The Outsiders confront them, leading to a rather impressive fight. While The knight and Jack O' Lantern hold their own for a while, they eventually lose. Batman then warns them to leave the League alone.

The next story is the introduction of Captain Marvel. You see, while the League has been fighting metahumans, aliens, mutants, and whatever evil spirits and demons fall through the cracks, Captain Marvel and Shazam have been facing the forces of damnation head on. The supernatural entities that the League have fought are simply ones who managed to slip past them. However, the villain of the story is not a demon, but a human. Dr. Thadius Sivana, a former scientist in the R&D firm of an American corperation who is wanted in the States for several murders and millions of dollars property damage. Two of his victims were Mary Batson and Freddie Freeman. Sivana moved to Zandia, a country with no expedition treaties with any countries. Recently, it has come to the League's atention that Sivana has come into the possession of dangerous alien technology. So, both the League and Marvel are after him. It turns out that the alien technology in question is quite dangerous: Brainiac's body. Sivana plans to use his body to create a nanotech virus that would overrun the world and make Sivana ruler of all he surveys. Through the mission, Captain Marvel, while polite about it, veiws the League as amatures. This changes over the couse of the mission, when Superman saves Marvel's life. The feild team for this mission is Superman, Rocket Red, Fire, Ice, The Atom, Power Girl, Tazmanian Devil, and Crimson Fox.

The next mission is the emergence of Mordru, the Dark Lord. Mordru is resurected by an Apocalype cult, absorbs the energy from several power plants as a means or refreshing his power, and proceeds to hold the United Nations hostage as a means of calling out Dr. Fate, who he cannot sense do to his not technically being in tune with Earth;s dimension. This one has the entire League, plus Captain Marvel going after Mordru. The fight reaches it's climax when the surviving JSA members come out of retirement to save the day. Huge mystical duel between Dr. Fate and Mordru. However, in the end, Mordru apears to be victorious when he suddenly and mysteriously disapears. He finds himself in a dark room, greeted by a shadowy figure. The figure states quite calmly and matter-of-factly that Mordru's active status threatens his future plans, and then kills him with a blast of heat vision.

The final storyline finishes a long running subplot that I'd leave clues to throughout my entire Ultimate DC Universe. Clark Kent discovers that the recentlt elected President Douglas Seid, his cabinet, and most of Congress, are not what they seem. President Seid is in fact Darkseid, the tyranical ruler of the planet Apokalipse, and weilder of the nearly unparalleled power of the Omega Effect. Darkseid wishes to cripple the will of the people of Earth by bringing their governments and economies toi the brink of chaos before fully invading. To this end, he has infiltyrated the highest offices of the United States, Russia, and China with his agents. He has now given the order to atack. This one has everything. Every damn character on Earth. The Justice League, the JSA, the Teen Titans, the Outsiders, everyone.

I'd probably go with the 7 core members - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, etc.

Which Flash and GL?

Was anything ever said about an All Star JLA?I would be reading for sure.

Anyways,I'd probably stick with Supes,Bats,Wonder Woman,Hal Jordan,Barry Allen,Manhunter and either Hawkman,Hawkgirl or Aquaman.

It should stick with original line up or it wouldn't good.

Kyle Rayner and Wally west were never part of the original seven

The original Seven - Bruce,Clark, Diana, Wally, Kyle, Arthur & John .
wasn't Hal the original Green Lantern? not Kyle?

I'd go with something like this

Superman- Clark Kent
Batman- Bruce Wayne
Wonder Woman- Diana
The Trinity you gotta have the Trinity
Aquaman- Orin
Aquaman is cool and deserves more respect.
Flash- Wally West
I'd make it so that Barry Allen has existed and died and that Wally is a Sidekick stepping up into the big time.
Green Lantern- John Stewart
I don’t really like Hal, and I hate teams that are made up completely of white dudes. Since All Star is supposed to be about Iconic representations of the teams I didn’t want to put Steel, Mr. Terrific, or Cyborg on all of whom I like better. I’d probably make him closer to the Cartoon John as it works better with the team dynamic.
Zatanna
I wanted both a magic user and another female on the team so Zatanna beats out Black Canary plus I wanted Batman to be the sole Human amongst the Gods, which is why I left off Green Arrow as well.
Martian Manhunter- J'onn J'onzz
He's a mainstay, he'd be trying to understand humanity trying to find his place in a world that isn't his.
Yeah Yeah it's 8 but I couldn't leave J'onn off the team.

I don't see Batman taking part in the giant epic battles; he'd be close by (maybe in his Bat-Plane or something) making tactical decisions researching the badguys and that sort of stuff.

I thought this thread would be a bit more succesful.

Has an All Star JLA been hinted at in the past?

Nope. The only upcoming books that've been mentioned are WW, Batgirl, and GL.

I think it would need a black bald character.

Roster:

Superman
Wonder Woman
The Flash (Barry)
Aquaman *Later replaced by Green Lantern*
Green Arrow (Ollie)
Black Canary
Martian Manhunter

Batman - Reserve

Superman would be the first approached, naturally. His exploits in Metropolis, and being the only real 'public' figure out of the group of superheroes, would make him the ideal first choice. However, Superman would refuse, sighting that he'd much rather work alone unless the situation called for assistance. But he'd be against the idea of a team being assembled for constant outing. The goverment that would lead the formation of the team would eventually discover the remnants of the meteor shower in Smallville, it's connection with the Kents, and Clark Kent's identity as Superman through files and confidential photos given from a branch in Roswell. Armed with this information, General Wade Eiling would blackmail Superman into leading the team. This would cause obvious tension between the goverment and Superman, but Superman would have no choice. And so, the team's leader would be secured.

Batman would be a reserve, mainly keeping his duties to Gotham City and only helping on needed occurances. He'd keep in contact with Clark and Diana, but be distrustful of the others throughout the first few arcs. The 'Trinity' would have been on past missions together, with Superman and Diana originally wanting to recruit him as the first member, but with him refusing. On some occasions, He'd visit the team in the Watchtower, but keep contact limited to, as said, Clark and Diana, never really speaking to any others.

Wonder Woman would join out of persuasion by Superman, the only 'man' she would deem as trustworthy due to their past encounters. The decision to join would only be furthered when the Queen would cast her out of Themyscara for her unlawful exploits as Wonder Woman, and entering 'Man's world'. Diana would eventually be secured as an act of rebellion against her mother, and respect for Superman and Batman.

Black Canary would join the team for two reasons: One, her mother was a member of the JSA, and she would feel obligated to join out of respect for her heritage... And two, she'd be hired by the officials responsible for forming the League to investigate Green Arrow, as a spy within the team. This would eventually be called off once Arrow and Canary develop a romantic relationship, but in the first few arcs, Dinah would act mostly as a spy, only being on the League by accident, but eventually finding her place as one of it's most integral members.

Green Arrow would be the hardest to convince, turning down the offer numerous times. Unlike Superman, his identity would not be as easy to uncover, given that he never attracted any attention in the same vein as the meteor shower. When the team would eventually give up on trying to recruit him, Ollie would finally be brought in by a challenge brought on by Wonder Woman: To last in 'the big leagues', if he could handle it. Intrigued by both her beauty and offer, Ollie would join on a temporary basis. But his connection to Dinah Lance would only make that temporary basis more... well, extended.

The Flash would actually vollunteer to join, unlike any of the others. During a teamup with Superman against Mirror Master and Parasite, The Flash would mention the rumors of the League's formation. Superman, knowing that their attempts to recruit Jay Garrick failed, would find Barry to be a suitable replacement, despite Barry only beginning his career at that point in time.

Aquaman would join to establish peace between the US and Atlantis. Knowing that if he became a well respected and public American figure that the US would not attack Atlantis with any of their nucular warheads, He'd join the League in an attempt to gain popularity, but stay in to protect his growing appreciation for humankind.

Martian Manhunter would actually be the most integral member of the League. With the first arc focused around him coming to the already mostly formed team, He'd be in his John Jones guise, hired as a technician for the Watchtower's equipment due to Batman's lack of time to monitor them. He'd originally have been a detective, but quit once he began encountering his own strange abilities. Oh, and that's something else... He wouldn't remember he was of Martian origin. Brainwashed in the hostile extinction of his people, J'onn would flee to Earth to escape, but eventually lose all memory of his heritage, gaining an amnesia and taking on the form of a local he'd encounter while roaming the back alleyways of Washington DC. From there, he'd absorb the thoughts of different people and establish his identity as John Jones, fully believing himself to be human as his memories overpowered his knowledge of his indifference. But during his time with the League, he would realise that something is wrong when he would deduce all of their true identities without the aid of their confidential files, even discovering that Batman was billionaire Bruce Wayne.

The final arc with John as their technician would deal with an alien attack on the Watchtower. The League would be powerless to stop them, but John would begin remembering them from his days of torture during Mars' final stand. Finally realising his existance, with encouragement and inspiration from Superman (who would have figured it out by then), John would morph into a new form, donning a cape and costume similar to his peers and becoming The Martian Manhunter, aiding the League in stopping the alien threat once and for all.

To any Green Lantern fans who I may piss off, He'd eventually come in. But only after Arthur would quit, not feeling that he'd be accomplishing his mission in keeping ties between the US and Atlantis peaceful. He would then become their enemy, waging an attack on the US to overtake it before they could overtake Atlantis. Green Lantern(John Stewart) would show up and aid the League, eventually becoming Arthur's replacement once Arthur backed down.
