Who's at work?

Yeah, but I only work 3-4 hour shifts a day. So I'll be done at 1 when I got to class.

I'll be working from 1:45 to 9:15. For a part time job, I get a helluva lot of 7-8 hour days. :\

Do you get 40 hours a week during the summer? I do at Dunham's, and it kicks ass $

I'm supposed to be in science class.
However the site is updated with the work.
Then I'm supposed to be in french class.
However the teacher is cool and that course is going to be an easy pass.

So I ain't sitting through school with a sore throat and throbbing ankle for nothins yoooo!! :cmad:

I want to get a job that has wireless internets. So I can fix up my laptop and download s**ts for free.

I've only been working there since December, but have been getting 30 hours a week (which is supposed to by my max) pretty consistantly. It'll definitely have to go down once I start school in May, though.

^ What kind of school? Grad stuff or specific training of some sort?

Anyone know any sweet jobs with wireless internets? :csad:

Yeah, I skipped the fall and spring semesters cause I felt like it.

I'm gonna be moving into my own place soon, hopefully on Spring Break, which is about a month from now.

Then I've gotta find a new place to work. :csad:

I'm actually at the Apple Store in downtown Chicago, looking for work. I stopped in here at 10am looked around then got on the computers and haven't left.

Shouldn't you have a job first before you find a new place?

At work right now, but participating in those microsoft livemeeting things all day, so I can have separate windows up.

I usually go on the hype at work if I don't have anything to do or waiting for stuff. Funny thing though is one of my coworkers got big time busted for sleeping earlier today, I heard him starting to snore and wanted to wake him, but wouldn't be able to without attracting attention to the fact he was sleeping, so I just put on headphones to drown out his snores. It took our boss yelling his name about 10 times before he finally woke up.

I work part-time at Dunham's Sports in my town. That's not enough on it's own to pay for my own place, but I've had a savings account with a lot of money saved up over a span of 15 years.

So what type of job are you looking for cause honestly...you'd be surprised how fast you can run through a savings account.

Well, any job that pays more than MI's minimum wage @ $6.95/hr., and offers consistent hours is good enough.

I'm sure you won't get hired there if you're lingering in the store for free wi-fi

i used to post while at work...then they took away the net...now you have to phone up for a password to get on...and if you go anywhere your not supposed to be they tell you off:csad:

How much work I actually get done depends on the following factors:

1. How much work is in my queue
2. How quickly users respond to my requests for information/testing
3. How many times I get interrupted (either by my boss, users or other programmers)
4. How good the coffee is today

i'm at work and i'm dead sick :( took yesterday off, but i had to come in today, couldn't have my work pile up.
