Who's the Better Director?

what the hell kind of choices are these...

the real choice needs to be Stephen Norrington or Sydney J Furie, these guys are the real talent..

The match ups have been pretty damn good actually.

Edit. Nevermind...I get your humor.

Anyways....Welles wins...Someone make another match. Or not I'll think of one in a couple of min

of course this thread is genius... keep it up, I only saw it the other day and wanted to vote in for Welles but he was already declared winner...

am keenly awaiting the next interesting match up!

vs

Terry Gilliam

Now after this match up There will be 9 more match ups. So if anyone would like to suggest names I Highly say do it after this match...because I dont want to leave any directors out of here.

Burton.

But I haven't seen Brazil or 12 Monkeys, and those are two of Gilliam's biggest works.

damn this hard... Burton is definitely the more consistent director yet Gilliam's films when he scores have been just unstoppably brilliant.

I'm gonna go with Burton on this one despite my major issues with his Batman films.

Tim Burton

Name suggestions:
Sam Raimi
George Romero
David Lynch
David Cronenberg
John Landis
Ridley Scott
Quentin Tarantino
Richard Linklater

Gilliam... Dude's awesome but has probably the worst luck of any director in the business...

Tim Burton - I don't care if I'm bias Bat-fan. :p

Gilliam, no contest. Man made some of my favorite films ever. His good movies are leaps and bounds over anything Burton can come up with.
