So who's winning the Civil War? it looks as if Captain America's forces are-especially since Spider Man, the Invisible Woman and the Human Torch defected to his side ( and the Thing declared his neutrality and decamped to France).
Personally I believe that the Supreme Court will declare the SHRA unconstitutional and the President will be forced to pardon Cap and his confreres( if a presidential pardon is good enough for Confederates and Richard Nixon then it ought to be good enough for Captain America)

Anybody think as I do?

Terry

Which would explain why every spidey solicit says he's on the run. Also there's the fact that there's an entire mini dedicated to the fifty state initiative...

That, and that Iron Fist takes place three days after CW in a clearly pro-reg world. Then there's Thunderbolts, the title of which its entire premise hinges on the pro-reg side winning.

The anti-regs will win the upcoming battle, but they're going to lose the war.

So out of curiosity, given this is a pro reg world, Hulk will come back and wage a war against Shield and all its heroes?

Maybe his allies will actually be those who wish to rebel against the system....

I hope he brings some of the characters from planet hulk back with him. Some of them need to stay behind to keep the peace but a couple could come back

I think Miek is a gonner, but the rock guy and one of the brood could find their way back. I am guessing the shadow people willl stay on their home world.

In any case, they are not enough. I do not quite know who willl be the counter for Sentry unless Dr. Strange or the Sentry himself is on Hulk's side.

Agreed.

I know Marvel has to sell books, but in reality, it makes no sense for the Hulk to come back to Earth for ANY reason...let alone to wage war.

The Illuminatti exiled him with the hope of him being off Earth forever, but having his own planet to live in peace. Well....in a roundabout way, that's what happened.

Sure, it was a long, violent ,bloody road, but the Hulk now has his own planet that he rules...his people LOVE him, his allies respect him, and he even has a hot warrior chick for a girlfriend.

If I'M the Hulk, i'm staying put.

Screw Earth. :down

Now that I've seen how Planet Hulk played out, I'm really intrigued with the idea of him coming back to Earth for a little payback. Someone needs to pound Tony around a little bit.

I think you're right that it doesn't make sense for him to come back. What I would love to see is one of the Illuminatis to bring him back because they need him for something (maybe to pound Tony a little bit. :) )

Marvel's stockholders are wining the civil war.

That isn't going to happen at all.

- Cable told Captain America that he was going to lose the war. Cable's from the future so he'd know.

- Solicits for the Amazing Spider-Man say that Spider-Man is on the run from the law (for being against the SHRA most likely)

- The Immortal Iron-Fist is set in a SHRA world

- The Thunderbolts, the Suicide Squad rip-off is set in a SHRA world

- Avengers: The Initiative is the story that deals with the 50 State Initiative taking off having 50 superhero teams in all 50 states of the United States

- Omega Flight is a pro-reg team and is being set up in Canada

- The President has announced 12 pardons, it appears that they will be used on Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Arachne, Wiccan, Hulkling, Vision, Speed, Patriot, and Kate Bishop. No pardon for Spider-Man

cable wouldn' nessasarily know EVERYTHING about this worlds history theres the possibility of inacurrate historical records:ninja:

Thank God there's a ton of politics in comic books now! Oh wait, I freaking HATE politics.

Yup, the Govt. side is gonna win. It's also been stated repeatedly that the status quo of the Marvel Universe will be irrevocably be changed; if the SHRA wasn't still up I don't see how that would be possible. The Initiative is supposed to deal with what happens when you signed that dotted line and registered.

When was this revealed?

The SHRA will stay though I'm positive in some watered down form.

That seems very likely, especially when you consider Cap dies.

Dude, I hope he doesn't die now so I can pull up every one of these posts and make you look stupid.

And you realize, when he does. I can quote your posts and make you look stupid.
