Whose team are you on? Simple question and why. Why do you feel a connection to that particular team, or support for/against the accord, or ideology in which that particular stand for?

I've always been a Captain America fan. He's a nice guy whose main concern is defending and helping the helpless. He doesn't care about the notoriety and glory....he's for doing what is right.

One thing I'm mindful of, is as much as I like what Captain America try to stand for, he is supporting a known assassin/terrorist simply because that person is his friend. I know most will say Bucky(WS) was not in his right frame of mind during the number of murders & atrocities committed; however, there have been a number of people who was leally, not in the right frame of mind, as the individual committed murder or some criminal act that resulted in loss of life, bodily harm, and collateral damage, that was rightfully convicted for their heinous crimes.

So that kinda speak to Cap's morals only applies if it not someone dear to him....which does go against his supposedly principles.

Team Cap, I chose him first and I'm gonna stick with him regardless until the end.

I agree with Steve's perspective on the issue, as is it instinct that I "follow" along with his team given the heroic nature of it by comparison to the more villainous Pro-Reg team, but Ironman is my favorite superhero altogether sooooo.....

I really don't know

Civil War was a morally shaded story, but the pivotal point came when Hill asked Cap to arrest former super hero allies who didn't agree with the SHRA. At that point, the validity of more accountability was swallowed up by the draconian method of implementation. Cap was right to resist.

We know General Ross is involved with the Accords in the film, so that instantly casts doubt on the new parameters being anything that's fair or helpful to the Avengers or other heroes. I'm sure Cap's right again.

Well, in the real world, I'll probably cast my lot with Team Stark.

But hey, the MCU is full of HYDRA, Ten Rings, AIM, and goodness know what secret organisation the Russo brothers will introduce into Civil War through Zemo. Plus, time again, the films have shown us how dirt corrupt and infiltrated the US government is (and probably even the UN), so heck no, there's gotta be a catch somewhere that Stark and his allies failed to detect.

We don't know the whole story yet, but so far it's Captain America. Hydra members hiding out in S.H.I.E.L.D. and the government nearly killed millions of people and held the world hostage, and the only reason Steve was able to stop them was because he didn't blindly follow orders. So when the government produces a big book of rules to dictate what him and others like them can do, yeah, I'm pretty cynical. Saying that Bucky should be turned over to the authorities makes sense when you believe in the system, believe that he'll be given a fair trial and that his circumstances will be given the proper consideration. I don't think that's what's happening here.

Also, Cap is my favorite, and this is his movie, so I'm inclined to cheer for him to start with.

As much as I like Cap and dislike IM....I'm more inclined to be on IM's side because Cap is following his heart which I'd do too but it still doesn't change the fact that it's a selfish act and in the grand scheme of things not a good one. But i'm guessing in the end they'll show us that Cap was right all along.

Team Iron Man all the way.

Can't side with someone who's breaking the law, harboring a mass murderer and terrorist, aiding and abetting a mass murderer and terrorist, assaulting our troops and people who are sworn to serve and protect this country and acting like a child because things aren't going his way.

this is a captain america film. the fact that this sentiment exists is further proof in my opinion that the title of this film should have been given to him.

voted for him anyways because I agree with him in the comics

Team Cap all day err' day, even though I love Tony... That's who I'd side with if I were actually part of the MCU. *Day dreaming intensifies*

Team Cap. Team Thor isn't up there :more:

Team Cap all day err' day, even though I love Tony...

Hmmm, which brings me to a point(not specifically at you Joe)....whatever happen to the love that people on the Hype had when "Iron Man" debuted.....Tony could do know wrong, even after he took responsibility for his Family's actions(mainly his Dad), then outed himself. He appear to be the same person today....what happened?

From all I've seen of Civil War so far....Team Cap.

General Ross pushing the accords doesn't exactly make them not look shady, and Bucky was brainwashed and had no autonomy over his own actions for 70 years. The true moral responsibility for The Winter Soldier's murders lies with his Hydra handlers.

Saying that Bucky should be turned over to the authorities makes sense when you believe in the system, believe that he'll be given a fair trial and that his circumstances will be given the proper consideration. I don't think that's what's happening here.

This. Bucky needs rehabilitation and a **** load of therapy and psychiatric help, not being hunted down like a dog and taken out by a trigger-happy SWAT team for things he did while brainwashed.

That isn't justice. Far, far from it.

I don't care who's right or wrong. I just want to see Cap and Bucky kick ass as a formidable tandem.

I don't think they're going to show us who was right or wrong. I think there will be a "winner" and I think that will be the side of the "accords" because I don't see the other side having the resources or the freedom to continue to operate otherwise.

And so, my heart is with Cap. My head may or may not be with IM. I'll have to wait to see the story unfold. I might be leaning toward Caps way or no way.
