Why are people down on spider man 3?

I keep on looking around and I see people posting bad stuff about this movie and people saying that there brothers or cousin's are dissapointed in this movie and they have to tell everyone about this movie. I just wanna ask why people are saying this.


Also let me say something before I post this remember when alot of people said well I have a close friend that is working on spider man 3 and it will be the Chameleon? You remember that because I had that issue on another thread where after that I got threats because I said that would never happen because that would be a waste of millions of dollars. So why are people making stuff up?

And you've been here for how long? My experience has been that many are more excited for spidey 3 now than they were before the con. I think You're either working for Sony or an alternate nick of some cranky vet.

Well people are down on spider-man 3 because they just are. Some have issues with it for taking such a huge deviation from the comics. I personally think it'll be spectacularly entertaining, but not very close to what I remember of spidey.

And there's no trend to bash movies unless they're catwoman or batman and robin but there is a trend to bash anyone who's not 100% happy with a film. There is no such thing as tolerance of differing opinion anymore.

Harry's costume is the thing bumming me about this movie.THC/Sandman and TG/Venom are new to this movie and they get total respect with their looks,and James Franco/Goblin has been here since the first movie,and it looks like they didn't even try to make his costume look cool.

It's a slap in the face to James Franco,and to the fans who have been waiting to see him become a villain.

Eddie Brock is Topher Grace

Peter Parker is the blandest of bland Tobey Maguire

Sandman involved in uncle bens death.

Harrys costume.

Gwen Stacy is in this film and not in the first movie.

Venom Dies.

People are free to be down or up on spidey's movies or any movies. We all have the right.

now people may have problems with the story's details and the villain costume and such as well as the possibility of ruining spidey's entire existence by having someone else murder his uncle. honestly though I don't think you care about why anyone would be down on spidey 3.

Anybody who has problems with Spider-man 3 already can be summed up into one catergory... those who haven't seen the new trailer. Simple as that. Those of you who haven't seen the new trailer, but still have faith, I COMMEND YOU! Before even seeing the new trailer, I was ready to see the greateset all time comic-book movie ever created. After seeing the trailer, those thoughts are now reinforced ten-fold. All I can say is be f ucking ready, because this movie is going to be unreal and amazing regardless of any changes Raimi has made or how close to the comics it is. LONG LIVE RAIMI!

I agree with mawo32. I'm surprised. Before the Comic Con trailer was released, I read a lot of criticism. "Topher Grace is a bland actor and isn't big enough to play Brock"..."Harry Osborn's costume is horrendous"..."Tobey Mcguire doesn't look fit enough," etc. It's a matter of opinion and everyone will have their own about issues like those. Regardless, though, since that footage was released I've seen a ton of positivity and hype about the movie on this board.
