I reject religion because of the ignorant people that act out hatred in its name, I reject religion because of the divisive nature of it that pushes people apart instead of bringing them together, I reject religion because outside of one experience when my grandmother was passing away, I have never had a positive experience in regards to religion. I have lost bonds with family members because their religion was more important than the familial relationships, and they removed people from their life for having a different set of beliefs. I reject religion because I don't need religion in order to be a good person with morals and values.

But this isn't a religion thread, so I will go no farther. I will only close by saying that I do not care if a person is religious or not. I believe that religion for an individual is a beautiful thing. But I believe religion as an establishment is completely corrupt, and religion has no place in my life.

Gender roles play a natural part of our lives as living creatures. That's just the nature of it. They aren't a bad thing.

Though of course the gender roles that women aren't to get tattoos and are nothing more than baby making factories is indeed a negative treatment of women.

And really, the only justification one needs for tattoos is if they are happy about their decision. These women pictured, hell, even the one you posted, are clearly happy with their decisions as they wouldn't pose for pictures like that if they weren't.
