Pretty sure they talk about the pants in the extras on the dvd, they discuss this very issue on one of the featurettes. Havent watched the extras in a couple years though, so i'm not sure which one specifically. If you want me to find the specific 'one' I will.
Isn't like they need some super futuristic material to stretch out to Hulk's size, again look at the pants Banner is wearing when he returns in SF. They are huge to begin with, really baggy and loose. The pants were pretty solidly pressed against Hulk anyway, meaning they were close to there limits.
p.s. I'm sure the female watching audience is alot lower than the male audience. Even if a portion of that male audience is gay it still doesn't come close to enough reason for alienating the rest of the male audience.

Also Obi-ron, i'm pretty sure it was Ang that decided wisely to keep Hulk's manhood hidden. So maybe it should be "Apparently, Spider-Man and his ex". heheheh

i'd like to say the pants don't always stretch both ways, after the dog fight scene, there is a naked hulk and banner....

so technically there is only one scene in the film where his pants stretch both ways and it isn't accounted for, and it's really just thrown in for the fans.

if you don't know which scene this is, it was the one of bruce lying on the bed with his maroons in tatters...

I did a height and mass comparison of Marvel and DC strong men. I found it interesting that the Hulk was shorter and lighter than a lot of characters.
I know he's strong and invulnerable... just talking size.

I think it was just Marvel being lazy with its artists. Allowing them to do larger and more massive versions of Hulk. As usual, the blame rests with Marvel.

"Lazy"? It's artistic license at the most. But at the same time, this reminds me of my complaints about artists who like to show Spider-Man squinting.
