Heres another question, how do you pronounce Hank Pym's name? I always go with [PIM] like Him with a P. Never knew weather or not I was saying it wrong though.

i think pim is right. the alternative is pime right? pime just sounds silly.

Fine, but why Storm?I have heard arguments from people who like and dislike the marriage.Im starting to think this may be a plot to get Black Panther onto the X-Men...

The better question is why not Storm? What makes her untouchable compared to the rest of the females in the marvel universe?

I don't buy your conspiracy theory. As Panther is not a mutant and has a kingdom to run, I don't see him being involved with the X-men with the possible exception of a guest appearance once in a blue moon if Storm remains with the team.

Nobody's trying to get BP onto the X-Men. This is about a man finally marrying the only woman he's ever truly loved.
BP is also a very visually compelling character; take away the cape & the gold, he looks sleek & stealthy, like his namesake. With it, he has a very tribal/royal feel. Either way, you can't lose.

I can't think of anyone else I'd want to marry Storm.

Sorry.

As far as BP and the Xmen,.. They would be better served to have a place in Wakanda as an alternate techbase.

I'll go one further & say there's no one better suited for him, either.

Who says the X-Men have to have any real association w/Wakanda? I don't regularly associate w/my wife's co-workers, & I don't have a country to run. Why should he?

Because unlike canon involving Stark,... and the Fantastic Four,... Wakanda and the Black Panther appear to have a different policy involving the sharing of tech.
I can't find any ref to Wakanda charging heroes for their gear.

I point it out - How many Hero's has Tony Stark augmented or GIVEN GEAR TO? War Machine was Ironman Guardian tech is used in prisons for a hefty fee.

Ditto for the Fantastic Four.

Each have supplied tech to people affiliated to their teams,.... but only the Panther has had a better policy in regards to sharing tech. Wakada is canon for accepting refugees and protecting them. If the Mutants went there,.. all that nonsense happening in their own books would just STOP.

And if he had chosen to,... Wakanda could have easily financed the Avengers.
I don't know where folk want to believe that a corporation has more money than a country,... esp one with the resources that wakanda has,... but the bottom line here is that if stark CAN'T AFFORD to give the Avengers 1k a week then he's nowhere as rich as the panther.

You know, that whole providing asylum for mutants or say, any superhuman in Wakanda is a pretty good idea. I think I came up with something like that in that Civil War OYL thread somebody made. This of course would bring the U.S. government into opposition against Wakanda. Possibly attempting to sanction the country or even try and invade. And we all know what happens to those that Invade Wakanda.

Guys T'challa is a silent T. So its said like Challa. I just heard them talk about it on a Marvel Podcast. I Prefer the T not silent though. :(

I also like it better w/an audible "T"; but I try to pronounce it correctly.

Yup,... Entire groups get their feelings hurt.

That's the most major sticking point with those who don'tr like the concept of the black panther:

That Wakanda could remain independent,.....:down

I'm sure BP won't stand by & allow the U.S. government to do something which would hurt everything his wife has fought for.
