Why doesn't Marvel make meaningful movies?

Spider-Man and Iron Man were the only Marvel movies that meant anything.

One dimensional characters: Character will not progress personality, has strict pre set morals, strictly Good or Evil, cliché, stereotyped, flat generic dialog.

Two dimensional characters: Fits neatly into story, No History or limited, Predictable, character is non social(interaction), dialog is simple and one sided, Archetype, superficial, Ideal.

Three dimensional characters: Flawed, Has own stories, Has a unique past, Irrational, Quirky, Often Social(interaction), Individual, progressively changes, often unlikable.

Hulk and Iron Man fall under two dimensional. Nolans Batman films have Three Dimensional characters.

What? I don't see how those are inherently apart of what makes a character three dimensional. A three dimensional character is a fully realized individual, with layers both subtle and obvious. That doesn't mean they're quirky or unlikable. It just means they're as complicated as a real person is

Michael Bay, Transformers is the utmost example of one-dimensional. I don't think any of the Marvel movies have been that much popcorn over cerebral.
