The Dark Knight Why So Serious?

Ok so if you are not angry that you didn't get to see anything, then why don't you like the teaser?
because i didnt like how the teaser was done. plus they could have filmed footage of ledger without showing. just some shadow.
when they were on the set of hulk ang lee and the studio decided to film some special scenes for the teaser.or what about king kong? jackson in the blogs admits that the filmed footage only for the teaser.
directors do this. even nolan did it wth the ''me'' scenes.
it can be done it was done. this is just a cheap teaser IMO. the logo was already done by wormy. but the only reason why i am calm is because the promotion is only for the general public. they need to sell this movie to them not to us. we have the viral marketing. because the viral marketing is for fans not for some guy who doesnt even know about this movie.

what if they show the teaser that was online already... haha
it would be throwing away money. someoen was payed to make the viral internet site with the clock.

but hey WB did throw away money with SR when they let singer delete a 5 milion scene. its WB.

WTF would a Joker street team do?

Those dollar bills and stamped joker cards gotta get out there somehow, jerk.

Plus, sometimes all a street team does is put a link in their sig on forums, or make posts promoting aspects of the band or movie or whatever that the they're working for.

Put up posters with the website on it, or maybe just that Uncle Sam image with the web address at the bottom that says "I want YOU! HAHAHA!"

More or less get people who are not bat-freaks involved. Pull in the casual fan, or the general movie-going public.

Good luck everyone who's going down and helping out.. find us something awesome!!!

Many things. Register on messageboards and provide intentionally false or misleading information. Plant Joker stuff around comic book shops and things like that. "Recieve" emails from mysterious people that claimed to have sighted the Joker. Lots of fun can be had at the hands of a Joker thug.

:whatever: LOL, it isn't like they threw the scenes in the back alley dumpster. It will most likely be used for the sequel, so there is 5 million less they'll need to spend on a scene for it.

no need to call me a jerk. i wasn't saying WTF because i didn't agree with your comment. i was saying WTF because i didn't know what a street team was.

oh and why would they need to interact with someone online?

then wouldn't that be breaking the law?

to be honest, i am actually unsure of what a street team is and does.

AH, well, a street team is basically just a group of fans that get free goodies (usually posters, promo items, sometimes CDs if its a band, or stickers) in exchange for distributing more of the same materials to other people in order to promote and spread interest for whatever the team is working for. A Joker street team would probably go and place those cards, put up posters, post on forums, who knows what else. Either way, I take that to be the end result of joining "Joker's Gang." It really makes the most sense.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be insulting, more tongue in cheek. Hope the above shed some light on the idea.

Should be interesting - I'm hoping for new pics or the Harvey Dent teaser.

We'll see what happens in 3 hours..........Like I said before, it's getting people involved and curious about this production, so this marketing strategy is definitely working.

I just walked a mile down to my mom's house and a mile back to get my Tripod clip. Now I'm ready to film the site when the countdown ends, just in case there's some streaming video, or something awesome. If there isn't, oh well. And no, I didn't get the clip just for this. I'm not that obsessive.

I could imagine that it has something do with the bank robbery of the Joker...
Remind what Jett said about a "bank"....

For those who didn't notice, they updated the website within the last few hours and there's more instructions and says that us online will be involved, he even underlines it...TWICE! haha, should be great. I'm staying up late for it. 3am here is when the clock ticks down to. So...about...Midday where you guys are?

yea you might be right.

this would be cool though:

what if the people who show up at that location are given more directions....each new place they go to has some goodies and a piece of paper with one letter on it. each letter is for a password on the website...that opens a nice never before seen trailer.

that would kick ass.

Here is the new image:

You wanna know the reason I don't think the leaked trailer has anything to do with this website? Because this is a JOKER website. The leaked trailer is mainly dialogue between Bruce and Alfred.

I just downloaded AIM, I'd like to join that chat room.

Give me your screen name, and I'll add you in.

That way you'll get the invite to the chat.
