As Crappy as it Is that Perez Hilton Got It, Just Remember, He Probably Isnt the Only Member of the Press That Recieved A Copy Of The TImes And The Phone, Which Is Why His Message Was Different...Speaking of Which, Anyone Feel Like Bombarding That Phone?

 

Not sure if this was their strategy, surely it was, but mention "Perez Hilton" to any girl, chances are a good majority will know EXACTLY who he is and be frequent visitors of his site. I woulda never thought to reach out to him to inform people, but I checked out the site and he put up the poster plus random Joker pics throughout 2007. No negative stuff either, so it's good press.

 

This freak of nature just took Batman back by 40 years ugh...

 

They're doing the same thing they did with Batman 89...giving celebrities free merchandise to wear around to get the buzz going.

Oh? Hmm, well I know a few girls I work with (at least 2 OF 3), and a few more people who have randomly mentioned or sent me links to the site. It was a generalization on my part, but the page is pretty popular for those who are into celebrity gossip...I guess?

And about him bringing the franchise back 40 years, thing is the hype's been exposed to all of us who know the deal, however they are gonna need to crossover to the mainstream media to start promoting this thing. Sadly the hype for TDK will no longer be unique for us, yet at the same time (and a good thing), hopefully more people will become aware of the movie.

Perez is just flaming, but at least he was really excited about the marketing efforts (or at least the free phone aspect...).
