It's very possible that any further X-movies will not be directed by Bryan Singer...
Those who love Bryan's work on X1 and X2, and disliked the lack of Singer's touch on X3, must prepare themselves for this possibility.
What if the Wolverine movie, or an X4, or Magneto movie, or an X-students movie, is NOTHING to do with Bryan Singer. What if another director comes in, another creative team, another cinematographer, another production designer, another set of writers????
What do those who dislike the changes in tone between X1/X2 and X3 think of this? Will they ever accept anyone other than Bryan Singer? What if Zack or Guillermo comes in and does a total reinterpretation of the mythos to suit their 'vision'????
I'll be interested to hear those who hate X3 give their views on what they think if yet another director gets his hands on the X-franchise, especially as Singer is more than likely not going to come back. Do the haters have valium prescriptions at the ready? Can they ever accept any other director aside from Singer?

There are plenty of directors out there capable of making a great X-men film!!! It's seems that those you disliked Bryan's X-films, loved Brett's X-film, as well!!! What made Bryan's films great was they were more emotional films to the core with action to move the story along, while Brett was just an action-special effects fest!!! The action in X3 was fine, but the story and characters were very thin!!! But it's not like Bryan didn't have flaws in his films. Half of the characters lacked the personality from their comic book counterparts and were poor representations!! Not to mention, Wolverine had too much of a focus, but luckily, his stories made up for that!! What future X sequels need is a director who understands all characters, can give all of them equal screen time, have a good mix of action and developement!! Directors like Tim Burton and The Wachowski Brothers are good examples because their movies actually got the comics' concepts and characters.
