Sequels Bryan Singer on the Future of the X-Men Franchise...and possibly an X-Men 4

Jack the Giant Killer has been set for June 2012 release so Bryan Singer could get started on another X-Men film sooner than we thought.If Fox IS willing to push The Wolverine back to a 2013 release I can see him doing The Wolverine.

Just scrap The Wolverine and do a X-Men 4

Fox is stupid for not making a X-Men 4 already. X3 is almost 5 years ago.

I think Fox will give First Class a sequel too, so maybe they announce First Class 2 first, and a bit later X4, or hopefully the two at the same time. it would be great, a double announcement. Id love it.

Not I. I'd be thrilled if he did a non-numbered sequel that conveniently ignores 'The Last Stand'. There are too many errors made in that film that I don't want to see flowing over into Singer's films.

I'd actually prefer we just get sequels to 'First Class'.

I am an advocate of the announced X4 and X5 being sequels to just X-Men and X2.
And again we don't know If that Is not what they are doing.We know In early 2010 Lauren Shuller Donner was talking to Bryan about x4.And now she announced fox likes a pitch for X4 and X5.Considering Bryan wanted after X2 to do X3/X4 as 2 part filmed back to back story I am willing to bet Bryan was Involved In this.Jack The Giant Killer will be out sooner than we thought.The remaining 2 films he has been linked to battlestar galactica and Excalibur are nowhere near devolped.

With It basiclly confirmed X-Men Origins:Wolverine Is being ignored It remains possible The Last Stand could be as well.Let's also remember keeping The Last Stand In Cannon
also affects the First Class sequels.Let's forget the problems the opening scene of last Stand has with Xavier and Magneto.They would be bound by the Jean grey at begining of last Stand.

X4 could start one year after X3's end, so they could tell what has happened all that time in just one scene.

If Bryan works on the script, he will find a good way to tell it, so its not a big problem.

I think X4 should start at least a few years after TLS since all the actors will be visibly older.

Im sure Bryan is the one who wrote that X4 treatment Lauren commmented.

and Im sure Bryan really wants to direct a new sequel, so if Fox gives X4 green light next year, Bryan will be on board just after the Jack the Giant Killer release.

And of course if there's a X4, there's a X5 and X6 eventually!

I'm pretty sure Bryan Singer wouldn't do the same mistake that he did when he decided to leave X3 and direct Superman Returns.

I think he really wants to come back as the director of the sequels to stay for the rest of the franchise.

at the end of the day, its his franchise, so he deserves to continue it until Fox decides to stop.
