Will this be a better movie than Ang Lee's The Hulk

Based on the directors past movies it could have at least some great action, and with unleashed he showed that there can be some drama. But overall it really all depends on the script, and with Zak Penn behind it its most likely horrible.

Yeah, not sure about about the director and the cast is actually really good, but if the script sucks, then not even the badassness of Norton could save it.

Waiting until we hear more about the story/script review/trailer.

The script wont suck. Have faith guys. NOT ALL DIRECTORS ARE CONSISTANT. Zak is a good writer. Give them a chance. Cant be worse than Ang (Ugh) Lee's.

You are reflecting my exact fear about TIH...
I wish the mvie will be "better" than the 1st one (which I reapeat is one of the best comic book to movie IMO, And a great "movie" as well).

I wouldn't have called that poll "better than", but more "more enjoyable"...or
will it perform better at Box -office so we will see a long serie of Hulk movies??

by browsing through the board, we can see that if the general consensus is "this new one looks promising", yet there's still a lot of uncertainty.
It's very hard for me to decide with what we have so far...

Great Cast (but the 1st one was great too)
Synopsis so far looks action/smash oriented (gonna be eye candy but will we get some substance??)
New Shade of green/new look (How can we be sure it'll be better?? we ain't seen nothin yet?)

Basically my main problem/hope is this equation
I believe in Ed Norton to do more than just be around waiting for the green goliath to smash
But I still want LL to prove that we'll get more that The transporter fuelled with Gamma Rays... (it blows, it jumps, it pops, it shoots, but it doesn't question....)


And a movie is more about question than answers IMO

(ask the good question, and you'll find the answer in the film/story....
if we get the answers before asking any question, it's like: What's the point???)

If TIH delivers kick-ass action, with great story and characters, I definitely buy it and will proudly say, it surpasses Lee's version...
But at the moment, I doubt the visual style effectiveness of Louis Leterrier will overweight the Story-telling of Ang lee's...

I don't want Hulk Ultimate Destruction on screen, I like to play with it on my xbox and that's about it

Nick Nolte was horrible as his father. They should've used makeup and used the young father instead. Can anyone tell me if that ranting at the end of the movie was great acting. I think not. Elliot was awesome as was Connelly. Talbot was misused Banner was just ok. Nolte was plain horrible. He looked like his police mugshot throughout the movie.

If you didnt like the movie EB, thats fine and i respect that, but it really gets on my nerves when people say things like 'Everybody knows the movie was crap' because every movie has fans, whether you think they are right to be fans of it or not.

And it doesnt matter whether Zak directed X3 or not, he had an integral part in making it **** and has never made a good movie in his life, thats what worries. For the record i'm not convinced by LL either.
