I heard Venom shares billing with Sandman. Sandmans time in the movie will be in the middle, and Venom's will be the end of the middle toward the end. But will have almost as much screentime! They both will team up at the end I think.

But Venom will be the main villain toward the end of the movie. Venom will be the final battle.

As much as I want to see the return of Doc Ock,wouldn't it be better if they waited until S-M6 with the Sinister Six.Sinister Six should be villains that spidey has fought before,or at least villains who have the same kind of powers of villains that spidey has fought in the past.

Like Hobgoblin would be like the GG that spidey fought,but at the same time it would be new to moviegoers,the same goes for Carnage who would be like Venom,and same goes for HydroMan as well who would be like Sandman,this way you get to see some new villains,and you don't really have to give them great back stories.

^So if Doc Ock,Carnage,HydroMan,Hobgoblin,(and Venom is dead from S-M3) are off limits to use in S-M4 and S-M5,then who do you use ?

then in 6 u bring back venom and have carnage as the finale....thats best way to go

Noone is ever Dead in comics and in movies either.. Remember Xmen 3? Professor X is still alive. If they really wanted it to be like that Doc Ock would never be back. Cause it looks like he died also when he went underwater.

Depends on what the story is imo.

Aslong as they can keep the character Peter Parker/Spider-Man interesting then they can make a 4th I think. In the first movie you learn about Spider-Man, in the second you see him struggle with his gift, in the third there will obviously be more about that but alot to do with what the symbiot brings out of him.

A fourth movie would have to somehow expand on his character, as even though an introduction of new villains can be interesting people like to see a good arc development of the hero without making him becoming and repetitive. Hope I am making sense here?

I'd love to see a fourth myself but only if they will bring back Raimi as director. Kirsten Dunst/Mary Jane I'm not that bothered about because if she dies it just adds something to the character of Peter Parker, we can see him take a darker turn (more so than the symbiot) which would maybe make him care alot less about his own safety risking his life even more.

exactly i think a story with petes teach doc connors turning into the lizard, and having pete trying to save him...all the meanwhile kraven the hunter comes into town to try and kill the beast...would be great...just has to be written right.

I think 4 villains is already pushing it in a movie so i'd say SM4 should have 2. Also IMO Hydro-Man would be very eye-candy treat. And i wnat to see shocker too

seriously i wouldn't want 6 spidey movies cause i don't want Raimi to leave cause if he leaves well just look at what happened to x3.and i would be pissed if tobey were to leave or even dunst. cause i know them as peter parker and mary jane watson. we don't think of George Clooney as batman from the old films do we?at least i don't i think of Michael Keaton as Batman from the old films.that's how i think of spider-man i would always think tobey as spidey instead of whoever comes in spidey 4-6. if this is the last spidey movie it would be the end of a unbelievable Spider-man trilogy.

I think the only way to do it is to take a long hefty break... unless Tobey would come back for one more and the same with Raimi... but I think the safe thing to do is for Sony to take maybe a 10 year break before making sequels... if not longer... really should be around 15-16 years before they make the sequels...

There are a ton of great, classic villians left for Spider-Man to battle. There has to be more than 3 or Sony/Raimi and co. will be waisting a huge opportunity. As for Kirsten leaving...I hate re-casts. Keep Gwen or introduce Felicia or something.

i think three should end without a cliffhanger and should be viewed as the end of a trilogy. Then they should have spideerman 4 with the lizard and Kraven and give MJ more of a cameo role (the best option if she dosn't really want to do another). The movie can still be emotional without the love plot and audiences are probally tired of the on and off thing

I hope it stays that way... introduce SM to a new generation like star wars did and restart the franchise with the sequels in a decade or so... ^If they would of left Venom out of S-M3 and waited until S-M4,then they could of had Venom and Lizard in S-M4 and that would of topped S-M3 that had Sandman and GG2,but because they already have Venom in S-M3 and him dying at the end of it,we won't see Venom being the main villain ever.

And also if Venom was in S-M4 with Lizard,you can't have Venom in S-M5 with Carnage,people will get bored seeing the same villain in every movie.Moviegoers don't want to see a spidey movie that has the symbiote in every one of them.

You have to give moviegoers different villains that can do different things,that has different stories,and have different looks to them,it keeps everything fresh.

magneto is in every x-men movie. it's all how you use him. and maybe you can show me where it says that Venom dies in this movie, you know other then some bull Q&A?

6 movies easy??? Cmon... how can that be... it's only about one guy... how much can you develop the existing relationships... the only guy left is lizard/Conners... I think in franchises like Xmen you have so many different directions you can go in... look how Batman died... how Blade declined... how the original Supes failed... and it goes far beyond super hero films... if they make direct sequels immediately following SM3 with new casts/crew... this franchise will be dead in a heart beat...

I don't know anyone other than you who was sick of Magneto... the Xmen franchise was about two different philosophies clashing just like it has always been... it worked in those films... I'm not saying Venom should own a trilogy... but give him more than a ten minute battle... that would've helped develop your six movies if they dragged it out a bit... but now Venom is dead and there is no where to go... totaly agreed with you! We get a spiderman movies series that was not perfect but was not real ****, so be happy with what we had! look at all the trilogy and movie that has contuinity that sucks and us we get something really good! Not perfect as i said but really good so...Be happy with what we had or be angry after a guy who wins millions of dollars because you see and buy his film!

I think the only way to extend this series considering what is to become from this film is for MJ/Peter to break up... for a while... tha way you can introduce new chicks... get a younger Parker that's still in his college years and bring in a felicia or whoever... you just have to create new relationships... MJ/Peter together for three more films won't work ever again.
