Brant is supposed to be sit outside and not do comedy inside the office
Robbie is supposed to be the serious kind and the Spidey supporting guy in the office
Most of us will give Raimi 10/10 on all the Jameson related scenes
No one found them cringeworthy

So now you're saying a version of Robin is as bad as a created Daily Bugle staff character?

That version of Robin-Yeah
There was nothing to suggest he was worthy of inheriting the Batman status
Had Nolan removed him and given those minutes to develop Bane,we would have seen a better Villian

The only time I didn't find the Bugle scenes funny were in SM3. If J. Jonah Jamesom can't make me chuckle, there is something wrong.

I just never understood why the buzzer made the table shake every time he communicated with Brant.

On a side note from SM3, has anyone read the new Thunderbolts? I just got done reading the first 3 issues. It's not bad, and I'm kinda interested in where they're going with it. Not sure how I feel about the roster though. Only big problem I have is the art, I'm not a fan of Steve Dillon's art.

I loved the Bugle scenes in Spider-Man 3 (except for Emo Peter hitting on Betty Brant and putting his feet up on Jameson's desk).

That feet up/humbug stealing scene you hated was probably the best Bugle scene in SM3 imo, the look on JKSimmon's face when Pete puts his feet up on the desk is priceless.

Ahh yes, Spiderdevil and him knowing everything. Of course.

And Betty went into the office a couple of times and didn't just stay outside. Her conversations with Jameson were ten times more golden than the Jameson/Hoffman moments.

Oh wow you're so wrong it's not even funny. Robin deserved to inherit the Batman mantle but on very different circumstances such as learning in his own way how evil a gun can be, with using his own detective skills throughout the film, trying to rescue the 3,000 cops at every chance he got, helping anyone he could leave Gotham City before the bomb is detonated. He earned his "stars and stripes".

And Bane would have only been better given more time

Was JJ funny in the comics before SM1? Or just a grumpy, annoying complainer?
Because I don't remember him being a comedy relief in the comics.

There are moments when he's good comedy material, not just when Spider-Man makes fun of him or makes pranks
When he's smiling and all the staff talk behind his back in issue 18, that's hilarious
And in one of the Ditko issues (don't recall which one) he smiled and Betty asked if anything is wrong

He's had his funny moments, but I don't remember him being much of a "comedic relief" in the comic books.
