The Amazing Spider-Man With Great Power, Comes Great Lounging - Part 10

And yet he did dance with Selina without the cane, but yet no one brings up the logic of him not being able to stand without the cane, lol. Like I said, when someone gets focused on the most things, people lash unto it. It's funny.

And you're right, perhaps it should've took Bruce longer to heal...but then Dent shouldn't have survived with half of his face burnt as well.

If you're going to bring up moments that you don't understand, acknowledge that this isn't the first time logic is thrown out the window for the film's sake.

Its not that I don't understand them, but just trying to make more sense of certain scenes. Logic has been thrown out of the window before, so yes that is true.

It's a real shame when people spend all of their time in the Spider-Man forums talking about Batman....makes me wonder why we have a Batman forum.

Okay, back to Spider-Man.

But, I always thought we could talk about anything in the lounge. Guess not.

But the Batboards suck. I'd rather talk about Batman here than over there.

Besides this is a lounge thread, we just talk about whatever here.

Was JJ funny in the comics before SM1? Or just a grumpy, annoying complainer?
Because I don't remember him being a comedy relief in the comics.

Judging from the very original comics and even the original ultimate comics JJ is portrayed as a pretty dry serious character. That being said he is grumpier in the ultimate comics

I'm thinking it came more from the 90's series where he's pretty much a mix of the serious Jameson and the Raimi's hammy Jameson

I just assumed he became humorous cause he just seems like someone you can have a lot of fun with. A blowhard yes, but a funny blowhard xD

Isn't this the lounge though? I thought we could talk about anything here.

It's best not to question C.Lee. He's like an Elder God when he gets upset.

The funniest (and weirdest) video I've seen in a while.

Batman has infested everything. :(

Shall we talk Pokemon, Digimon, and handheld consoles?

Talking about Batman is fun and Bat fans should be allowed to have their moment in the sun because if the reboot (and there will be a reboot) fails then all the Spidey, Supes, IM, Thor, Avengers, basically comic fans who have had to put up with the Bat fans since the Nolan movies will swarm the Bat forums and the payback will be swift, raw and hard :woot:

Speaking of Batman, I'm 100% sure that those domains are for the next Arkham game. But those rumours of it being for the next film just reminded me of how much I want the next Batman films to be based on those games.

That would be awesome, unfortunately they would have to get a linebacker to play Batman.

Hahaha oh my, that gave me such a funny picture in my head!

Imagine Bane then! ;)

They would be more "realistic" when it comes to human size and all that, but the tone, the mood, the character of Joker, all that would be so awesome!

It would be very different from Nolan's films but that's exactly what I want now.

Though maybe it would be better to just leave it as it is (the games). One part of why those games are so amazing is the art direction and the way everything looks, which wouldn't be possible in a film.

The Batman in the Arkham games is wayyyy too big. You're right, if Batman is that big then how big would Bane have to be in comparison? Hulk size.

I'd love for a Spidey game with a similar graphic style

True. I do think that swinging over the city is more fun than gliding over the city.

I had way more fun gliding around in Gotham than swinging around in NY in ASM, though I guess that's because of the overall quality of the games. Arkham City looked awesome, the graphics are awesome, the character designs are awesome, the tone and style is awesome etc. so it felt more pleasing to glide around over all that.

I do think however that swinging around should be much more fun the day devs get it right. And if it has the same awesome graphic style, or at least something similar (without trying to make NY look like Gotham of course, I'm more talking about the graphics themselves and the designs), it would be so awesome! I'm pretty tired of Spidey games trying to look realistic. Those have been movie licensed games so I hope for something else next time. The character designs in Edge of Time were perfect if you ask me! That's exactly what I want!

I just like the idea of Swinging and crawling over any surface. Call it Spidey bias. The graphics are much better Arkham though. Seeing as Rocksteady is owned by Warner Brother and in turn DC you aren't going to see a Marvel Rocksteady game anytime soon.

Was a crying shame that the Teenage Turtles Rocksteady game was debunked. I'd definately buy that game.

Only Spider-Man guise!!!!!!

What would be the point when there will still be Nolan's trilogy to enjoy? The reboot doesn't hurt that trilogy you know, lol.

Arkham Origins could very well be the Justice League prequel where they tell the origins of Joker.

And Arkham Night(or Knight) could work as a direct sequel to Arkham City.

It definitely has some realism to it such as Nolan's films though with a plausibility factor to everything, so it would only be a mixture of fantastical elements mixed with Nolan's realism.

Any CBM game should have that style if you ask me. The only thing that makes the AA games "awful" is the way Rocksteady handles Bane, but they can change that in the third game with having a smaller Bane and only explaining how Titan made him that size since Titan was in AC as well. Even Batman mentioned how Bane was stronger because of this Titan being used alongside Bane's Venom.

I want to see Spider-Man wearing a cape

Know something? Nevermind. Part of Spider-Man's costume charm is looking good without the need for a cape or other accessory
