I actually bet this movie ends up with a pretty high RT rating, mid 80s or higher, but that most of those positive reviews come off at least slightly mixed, if not bordering on negative. All we should do is look at them and see if they're fresh or rotten, no deeper investigation is needed IMO.
Focusing on all the critiques, especially in the positive reviews, is pointless to me. They're paid to be critical, so all I care about is if they overall found it to be good/'fresh'. Just my own personal plan of action, and those in the same hopeful, anticipatory mindset as me should maybe stick with this approach as well. We'll go a little less crazy
That said, if they end up being 'rotten,' then my theory's out the window, and fuhhhhh*k
Critiques are important though, and I'd like to think the writers/directors/actors pay attention towards reactions and responses, otherwise how can you improve? That's why it always irks me when people say things like "I don't care what people think", okay, then hope you don't mind me not caring about your work. Some people value different things. Sure, most probably expect for this movie to just be big dumb fun, but that's too easy to do in the grand scheme of things, things can be fun and clever too.

Wasn't really a battle, it mostly involved Spidey evading Electro trying to wear him out.
