Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

listen to the way he says "ya I know, They're not ready Storm"

It sounds like a bad Sean Connery impression

I may have to just Agree to Disagree with you on this....... Hugh's accent ( considering how strong ...... or...thick his actual aussie accent is) is the most consistent i've heard .

I beleive the only time i actually noticed a slight deviation in his approach was during a line in one of the trailers ......but i am so releived by Ratner with the trailers and this clip that I don't seem to hear what you are hearing....

ah well.

kev

that has to be the first time his claws come out... wasnt someone mentioning how important the first time his claws come out should be?

Sorry Wesyeed, for being all excited and saying that X3 is gonna be a goood movie [not was a good movie].

Its just funny how people get mad when people post their honest opinions about the clip and then say stuff like "this movie is going to rock no matter what", yea clearly that's the open-minded approach...

hopefully when i wake up tommorrow (actually its mor elike today) the boards will be back to normal

No, I didn't read it. Guess I'll go do that now. :)

This scene will be much better in the final cut... wow. I like it enough already. I know it could be better.

I wouldn't mind knowing myself.

I don't care what someone says about the movie either way right now cuz well...neither of those claims can be seriously made unless you've got a time machine.

But if you want to say the movie's great from a 50sec clip, sure...

I'm still wondering what's wrong with having bunched panties.

There's a reason that clip looked cheesey, Wolverine looked relaxed and spit out one liners. That's in the Danger Room and Wolverine's not taking it seriously...at first. Dont' forget we've seen 2 full trailers and none of them looked campy in any way. This is just a danger room sequence taken out of context. They probably shouldn't have shown that clip on Leno. I think a piece from the trailer would have been better. Can't they freaking save anything to surprise us?

Its hard to explain accents. You have to hear it.

Here's a pretty representative one:

Cool website, catalogues english accents around the world.

some typical things Canadians do is they pronounce "about" like "aboot", their voice is slightly more sing-song too.

if you've ever seen the movie "Fargo" the Minnesotans in that movie have a very Canadian accent.

Slow flying is a trademark in X-men films.

well, whatever. I just watched the trailer again to find my faith. I really hope that this clip is not the bad omen I fear it to be...

Ok, I have some problems with the clip. The big problems for me are dialogue and line delivery (which have been at least partly poor in all the clips and trailers), editing and direction. Problems I can ignore are the music and the effects. And Jackman's accent at the beginning sounds more like something from Sopranos than the previous X-Men movies. Other than that, it was alright.

I really hope this doesn't accurately represent the whole movie or I may skip it altogether.
