Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

I just saw the clip and I have mixed feelings on it. I do hope the Colossus effects are unfinished because Colossus didn't look as good as I hoped, as in like X2. Also, I was expecting to actually see the sentinel and I would have loved to have seen Wolverine ripping the sentinel apart...not smoke and then the sentinel head (which looked great) falling down with Logan just behind it? lol. It was kind of a cool clip but I was expecting better.

DID ANYONE ELSE HEAR THE MAJOR AUSTRAILIAN ACCENT LOGAN HAD? And did anyone else think the music was super comic book movie cheesy? And did anyone else thinkthe scene was just like any scene of any x-movie (and different in the bad way). It seemed waaay to comic booky.

I cant be bothered to check through all the posts, but one queston..how did wolverine get back to the ground? he was bigger than the sentinel head when he stood next to it, so i doubt he was in it (plus itd have electrical doohickies stuck in it), and he didnt appear to ride it.

the clip was fine per se, wasnt sure about the music for it, tho that may change. i hope it wasnt the final version, cos i did think it looked or felt a little odd in some way I cant put my finger on...maybe it was the quick "hear wolverine grunt, sentinel head on the floor" element, im not sure. it just seemed off to me. still, at least the head wasnt bright pink or purple.

and seeing as we heard the huge clunk of it walking, why didnt we hear its body clatter onto the ground?(thats a picky one)

You know I've seen the clip more then a couple of times now and it really isn't as bad as some are describing on the boards tonight.....You can clearly tell that the scenes, dialogue and even the score are edited/cut together......Also the more I watch the more I actually begin to really get into the scene, and feel like that's the Danger Room....I'm neither up or down about the clip......I hold all judgment until May 26th.....I was just "Hyped" to see the Fast Ball Special and Sentinal all in the same scene!

which bit? it landed with its back to us and he wasnt on it. its spun round and he appeared from the back. and we couldnt see him clinging to where it all its wiring bits were.

I agree.I think some people want this movie to suceed so much that they overeact a bit when everything is not perfect.Either that or everyone is just really tired.

Believe me, I'd love to be on the cheerleader squad, guys. But This just comes off as more of a kickass fan-film rather than the actual thing... I hope the movie isn't going to give me that same vibe.

I've viewed it frame by frame and there's no wolverine on the head. It's strange how fast he got behind that head, but maybe he ran and started walking slowly once he reached it?

I must say I was quite disappointed by the clip. Hopefully the actual scene will turn out different i.e. effects and music...because that music was terrible. It was like something out a cheesy family comedy. Then the Colossus effect was pretty cheesy itself. I'm also surprised by some of Hugh's line deliveries. They were completely flat and you could tell he was acting. I got a bad vibe from this but we'll have to wait and see if it's final.

Looking more closely at the clip, Colossus has a lot of reflection from the environment they are in, maybe that's why he looks odd?

Thats what im saying. it looks hokey. Its probably the reason it makes the clip look a little odd to me

It hits the ground with the back of the head facing us. It rotates, some might say spins, so the front is facing us. we see the whole thing, and he isnt on it. i know thats what the clip is meant to suggest , but it doesnt look right. its not nitpicking, cos it was the first thing i thought when he appeared from behind it.
