Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

Yeah, it's late and I'm tired. Sue me. :p

The humans are completely open to mutant attack. That's what I meant.

That's right, the humans are. Which menas the government should come up with some way to stop them. Which means making the Sentinels. Which means they'll appear in the final battle.

Oh, wait, no, that last bit doesn't connect.

Why don't they just train special anti-mutant task forces, instead of creating expensive, giant robots???

The soldiers in the movie probably are... and like I said, the Sentinels could be (keywords = could be) a last resort.

I never said they are definitely in the battle...

A lot of things could be, why are you picking this one to talk about?

Because it's my opinion...

As I keep saying it over and over again...

It wouldn't make sense for the gov to create giant robots which just happen to look exactly like the ones the X-men use in the Danger Room, unless Pro. X based the program off the gov design in the first place. In that case, that totally ruins the chance for a big reveal later on in the movie, when the gov launches the Sentinals.

It's not an opinion if you're not basing it off your perceptions, then it's just wishful thinking.

Darren Daring said:
No, you said they could be. But there's sitll no reason to think so.

And there's no reason to think they couldn't be...

They were never denied to be in the final battle, nor were they confirmed.

All we know is that the Sentinel(s) are in the DR, noone ever said they were only in there.

Which probably means there won't be a big reveal later and that the government won't launch the sentinels.

Unless, we only see a littl ebit of the sentinels in the dnager room, as is suggested, and it's jsut a tease, thus keeping a big reveal at the end intact.

No. They will. Because I said so.

Yes, there is reason to think they're not in the final battle. It has been stated from multiple sources that the Sentinels have a small part. Since the final battle would be the climax and thus the biggest aprt of the movie, it stand to reason that the sentinels won't be there.

Unless, they're all lying to us.

If they are introduced in the DR scene, then appear in the final battle, that's just sloppy filmwork. They need to be introduced dramatically, not just as a training simulation. But, you know, this is Ratner we're talking about. It's something he'd probably do...

Seeing a little of the Sentinel in the Danger Room, and seeing them as a late entry in the final battle still goes along the lines of not having a big role.

Absolutely not. I don't see how you can believe that.

can't you guys see that the whole sentinel scene is the DANGER ROOM? it would kill 2 birds with one stones.

I don't think anyone was disputing that...

And I don't see how you can say they're definitely NOT a part of the final battle. I might be wrong, but until it's confirmed they're not a part of the battle, I'll keep an open mind that they may be in there.

If I'm wrong, I'll admit it, and own up to it. But until then...

Why would you want them there? The design is terrible. They're better left unseen.

I'm not saying they're not part of the final battle, I'm saying there's no evidence to think they are. They very well could show up, that would be cool, but it would be a complete surprise and you wouldn't deserve any praise of your foresight for predicting it.

There's no real evidence, just circumstantial.

No, there is no circumstantial evidence, as none of it points to Sentinels being at the end.

Also, I edited in some further thought on my last post.
