BvS Wonder Woman's Role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Part 1

She spoke! I liked her voice and delivery too. She sounds as she looks; regal.

Yeah strangely I have zero interest in "seeing" an invisible jet in this or any other movie. I know it's part of her iconography but I always found it to be incongruous with the classical/Hellenistic elements of her mythos.

I always thought the jet was stupid.

That doesn't mean I think they shouldn't try to adapt it.

Maybe just make the Themysciran ship not look and function like a real life jet as not to have it stylistically conflict. Like maybe have it look like a giant mechanical eagle like the Trojan Horse or something.

I don't want to see WW or other Amazons using the plane at all.

If it must be included, just show it as some alien tech that Amazons found on Earth hundreds of years ago, and they kept it knowing that it could fly..but didn't how to, until some JL members found how to use it.

Please Gal be good.

My hope is she's back in man's world to investigate Superman specifically.

Since at heart she wants to help and protect mankind, she's just witnessed a kryptonian (being 5000+years old, they may have known of them already) and knows he may be unstoppable if he went rogue.

She'd just be doing it in a far more balanced and fair manner than 'can't take a chance being wrong about him' Batman.

Wonder if we will see her classic magic transformation. I'm not convinced she's carrying her gear in a bag.

Don't think so, this world is supposed to be grounded in certain aspects. And I don't think she does the transformation in New 52:

I don't know if they will have it or not but I don't feel it would be out of place at all in a world with Batman's not at all real super stealth V-ToL Batwing, genetically engineered Doomsdays, and of course we are going to get GL with his ring created costume insta change likely as well. She's the daughter of Zeus here after all. I can see it being that she can pull a Thor from the MCU and her armor and equipment appear.

I know she has the lasso, but I'm a bit sad I keep seeing sword & shield over her signature weapon. Maybe it's just a matter of circumstance, in that she's fighting Doomsday, but when I think Wonder Woman I see her launching elegantly upwards into the air a few feet and as she's floating in the air (flying) she throws out her golden lasso with class to wrangle the bad guy in.

As for its replacement, the superjump - I have more warrior barbaric vibes than a warrior with elegance but that's a 1 second clip. I'll wait until the movie before fully judging. I think I'll end up liking it.

Just a reminder to all, that Wonder Woman didn't have the power of flight for a very long time. And the warrior princess aspect has been a big part of the WW character since the Perez reboot.

She will use her lasso in BvS.

Understood. My wish stems from the fact I think the League (most of it, like 5/7) should be able to fly and descend upon us like a mythological pantheon. It would make an awesome key visual, and an easy one that quickly differentiates the League from a certain other superhero team in a truly glorifying way.

Right now she looks like a female version of Bruce Wayne. Luxury cars, clothes. She has to storage it all somewhere. Some kind of a mansion, no less. Or an apartment. With a garage, and an armory. As opposite to hardcore-metal-loving modest Wonder Woman with just an ordinary small flat of Azzarello.

But since she comes from a magic realm (most likely), I don't think it's too out possibility she just transforms into her armor attire when needed. Also, another question is how does she traverse large distances? Not by horses, probably. She dons her armor and then what? Leaping roofs?

I'd be on board with this. Feels like a modern evolution of the the Lynda Carter spin.

But she has had it for the past 20 years. One of the problems that hollywood likes to bring up is how inconsistent the character has been and how no one really knows that much about her because of it. So taking away powers doesn't help that much in getting people familiar with her. Superman didn't start out with flight but once they gave it to him, they stuck with it instead of flip flopping.

That's not her vagina, it's the abductor muscle on her leg.
