I picked up WotLK a few days ago.
Drak kicked Shirt out of the guild.
*shakes fist*

I'm kinda new to World of Warcraft. My current character is a level 60, because I havent bought any expansions yet. What I'm trying to figure out is whether I should go straight to 'Lich King' or do 'Burning Crusade' first. Even more, I'm trying to figure out if there is an end to the first game I should do before getting either expansion.

The advice of any WoW experts is welcome here.

No and yes. but just skip it the gears arn't worth it, you might as well go to out world, and skip the one for burning crusdae (teir 7) once you hit 68 and just get to where everyone is at find a good guild and wait for Arthus.

so far from what i seen dont join a guild that recuits anyone, because those guilds die after a few weeks or so. Join the ones that invite high level players only. (I been in 9 low level guild and when I log in one day, guild has been disbandm even though it exsited the day before.)

Well, I just bought Burning Crusade the other day so I will inevitably be renewing my subscription soon. I had joined a guild but there was a whole issue with people stealing gold. The guildmaster asked for it though by making over 200 gold available.

Boy, World of Warcraft can get pricey. You pay for the game, you pay a monthly stipend, you pay for expansion packs. So it's nice to hear of a charity that's giving away lifetime subscriptions.

If you donate $25 or more to the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society, you'll be in the running to score a free lifetime pass for the game, courtesy of Blizzard employee Katherine Allen, who's running an online fundraiser for the group. That means no more money spent on WoW subscriptions. Ever.

When that winner is chosen, three further charitable folks who made a donation will also be picked, each of whom will receive a free 12-month pass to the game.

Instructions on how to donate/enter at the link below.

I was wonderng if it was possible to solo Heroic (Outworld Instances only) or at least 2 man them now with the cap at 80? why? because I keep seeing level 80 ask for a full 5 man group to run these. Anyone know if it is possible and if so what classes can solo it? and what combo classes can 2 amn it?

Druids could probably solo just about anything.
Druid + Paladin would make it easy for just about all the heroics, minus UB.

Maybe wouldn't be able to take ALL the bosses, but you could take the first couple if tyou were geared/smart enough

I wonder why nobody else thought to hit WoW with a charity, especially with rewards like that. As obsessive a lot of their users are, they should get MILLIONS easily.

tried a mage,...
embarrassed myself,...
after playing pally for so long,... i continue to forget that I have the armor class of a pampers diaper,....

The entire time I played I played for free.

Wanna know how? Go to /v/ and just post your 'free friend trial accounts'.

Boom, instant free month or three. You get them enough that you can play for free as logn as you want, and theres ALWAYS people looking for them on that site.

Diggin' the Death Knight. =)

I restarted a Paladin on My kids Server,... Up to level 54.
Been running / Soloing the instances in order. Did the "Burning Chasm" @ 42 for example when I got high enough to survive running thru Orgamar.

Just Soloed Uldeman Last night but I think I'm up against my limit here for soloed instances,.. The next on my list is Mauradon,.... I expect to get munched,... the first part should be easy,.. but I fully expect the Boss to stomp me.

Have quitted WOW for several months and I do find myself missing it from time to time. Alas, I just have too little time between work & family that I can't get my character the level, rep, and gears he needs. If WOW had arrived 5 years earlier than I'd have a real blast with the game.

Can't...

resist...

must...

renew...

Warcraft account...

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

I feel ever-so-slightly alone since I'm on the EU servers, but nevertheless I've enjoyed the game for the times I've had it, which would be about 2 years now.

I've found myself with 2 80's :P Gnome mage on Tarren Mill and Tauren Deathknight on Kilrogg

If there's any other EU players out there, give me a shout :( Me no likey being alone

Well, I got roped back in. :(:O

Anyone here on Andorhal?
