Worst experience in a cinema/movie theater?

At Silent Hill, I was on crutches because I'd just had ACL surgery. Therefore was sitting on the end so I could have my leg straight out somewhat in the aisle. Big deal, there were just a handful of people there. Anyway. Some *****e in my aisle snuck in a bottle of Jack and proceeded to get ****-faced and ended up running down our aisle so he could throw up and ended up stepping on my leg. I wanted to shove a crutch up his ass so bad. I couldn't concentrate the rest of the movie my knee hurt so bad.

I snuck a huge can of Fosters Beer into X-men and by the end I was in so much agony with my bladder about to explode I literally ran through people in the hallway to get to the bathroom. Thats what I get for being a scumbag drinking beer in a theatre.

I can't blame you though.
Beer + movies = Great.

A fun experience...

Blade 2 - There were probably only 10 people in the theater. It was me and like 3 friends. There were two couples in front of us and a group of black guys in the back of the theater. They managed to sneak a few beers in, you could hear the bottles clanking lol I think towards the end when Blade is with the girl, they felt the need to scream out "That n**** is gonna get some *****!" I remember one of the guys in front of us said something to him, and they had a battle of words. It was entertaining lol

A bad experience...

40 Year Old Virgin - Me and a friend sat in the front row, which was horrible in the first place. Then this very large, horny woman and her boyfriend decide to sit next to me about 20 minutes into the movie. Without going into details, lets just say I wish I was somewhere else lol

It was worth it though :)

also had a fatty on the same row who had to go to the bathroom about 4 times during silent hill

This is probably the traditional bad experience, but at M:I:III, a baby cried the whole damn time. People in front of me were mad, and one guy was fake whining to imitate the baby.

It was hilarious.

I've had a few, but at See No Evil this guy in the back would laugh at EVERYTHING and laugh at it WAAAY to long and he had this annoying laugh that I can only describe as Stewie from the Family Guy episode where Brian sings with Frank Sinatra Jr.

At Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (so sue me), my little brother and I were talking before the movie started and some little **** in back kept telling us to be quiet, which we were during the movie. However the little **** wasn't quiet during the movie.

At a showing of X2 this family obviously took their little **** kid to it so they wouldn't have to pay for a babysitter. They even brought some of his TOYS with him. So throughout the whole movie he was making sound FX as he played. And when the kid with the glasses came on, the one who was rapidly changing the TV channels by blinking, he points and yells "IT'S HARRY POTTER!!!!"

At The Rundown, there were three Asian guys who seemed to have problems speaking their native language in a whisper and everything they said was yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.

This was not my worst experience but I'm sure it was somebodies. I was at a movie theater seeing a movie, it was a long time ago, I think it was some basketball movie with Shaq in it. There was this white lady and her little kid probably like 8 or something sitting next to me and my girlfriend. Behind us was this black couple and the lady kept talking really loud through the whole movie. The guy never said a word but the lady kept talking. So anyway the lady with the kid next to me, kept doing the "SHHHHH" thing, she kept doing it over and over and it got almost as annoying as the talking. So towards the end of the movie the lady gave her last "SHHHH" and the black lady said, "Ah hell no, you "SHHH" me one more time and I'm gonna kick your ass bit*h". So the lady next to me kept quite and the black lady pretty much stopped talking as well. So the movie ends and we all start shuffling out of the theater and the black lady comes out of nowhere and punches the "Shhh" lady in the face about 5 times. The "SHHH" ladies kid starts crying and the guy is laughing. Nobody is doing a thing until a bunch of movie employees came rushing up. The black couple started to leave and the manager stopped them and told them he called the police and that they would need to stay there. The black guy push the manager down and the left the building, the manager got up followed them out to their car and wrote their plate number down. Before they could take off the police were coming into the parking lot and since there were only one way out they were stuck and they never moved their car. The both were arrested and thrown in the back of the car. The funny this was there was like 10 cop cars that showed up, so I wonder what the theater manager said when he called the cops. Anyways the movie sucked but the fight at the end was worth the price of admission.

I wish I could've seen that.

LOL, that reminds me of the time I drank a TON of water before the Memorial Day assemley at my school last year. I had to pee sooooooo bad but couldn't leave and had to sit there for an hour.

went to see American History X in a ****-hole theatre in detroit. about 5 mins into the movie a huge fight broke out between about 10-15 black guys and 10-15 arabic guys....craziness..

Went to see Ishtar, and Almost Heroes. Enough said!!!

Batman Begins: This was the 3rd time. it was me, my friend Noah, my friend Jon and his girlfriend Val and this kid Tim. These 2 little kids were sitting behind us. They kept talking the entire time. Noah, turned around and asked the kids to be quiet. They decided to be little ****s about it. They kept talking and laughing. They even threw something at him. Noah turned around, a bit angry and told them to shut up. Then he looked at the adult with them, and asked them to do something. Apparently, the adult didnt want to, or did, to have the kids not listen. So Noah turns around, looks at the kids and goes "If you both don't shut the **** up, i'll leap back there and kill you!" The kids shut their mouths.
Noah is the greatest human being I have never met

2 of my worst experiences in a movie theater - not counting the times I wasted good money on those crappy Star Wars prequels and Jurassic Park 3:

1) All the times I had to clean up after people while I worked at Regal Cinema.
2) My brother breaking down bawling and crying and screaming at the end of X-Men 2.

Oh good lord there have been too many...

Probably the worst was when I went to see the Phantom, yeah that's right the one with Billy Zane and there was this chick who was completely trashed, kept talking and shouting through he movie until her boyfriend dragged her out.

Going to see once upon a time in Mexico and the guy next to me kept repeating lines from the movie, very annoying

During X2, when it first came out so it was really crowded every single time Kelly Hu (Lady D) Came on screen the guy next to me kept shouting "SHE'S F******* HOT!!" I mean every single time, until I told him to shut up and his buddy then told him to be quiet.

and last but not least during the PUnisher the guy behind me had his cell phone on and it rang and he answered and he started having a conversation during the movie, I told him to hang up or leave, so he left haha.

I don't take crap when I go see movie, I used to but I got tired of it especially since it cost so much to go see them in the theatre now

I personally don't care if somebody wants to bring liquor into a movie, but a lot of times the *******s that do it drink way too much and start acting like idiots over the course of the film, thereby ruining it for the rest of us. So in hindsight, I don't really agree with it I guess.

Revenge of the Sith: My friend took me and a couple of his friends to see it for his b-day. One kid was an absolute *****e bag and was annoying the kids and their dad in front of us (He was slouching so his knees would push their chairs up, put popcorn on the kids heads, etc.). I sat between my friend who took me and him. He kept leaning over and telling my friend what was going to happen (he said he saw it at midnight on the first day "to pick on the geeks" when he really went b/c he's a star wars geek).

M:I:III: I went to see it with my friend (the one above who took me to see ROTS). He kept whispering remarks to me. I think it annoyed the people around us but it was such a bad movie they probably didnt care. I know that's how I felt.

Ocean's Twelve: An incredible 2 annoyances in one showing.
First one: There was this incredibly annoying fat guy behind me and my dad. The previews were starting and the guy was commenting rather loudly on EVERYTHING (saying "What movie is this?" "Oh I know!" "What the heck?" etc.). My dad turns around and polietly says "Excuse me, would you mind keeping it down. The guy said "Sure, sorry." Then one of his friends said in a mocking voice to fatso "Yeah, don't talk during the previews." I turned around and said to the guy "He didn't say don't talk, he said be quiet." He shut up.

Second one: There was this older couple in front of me and my dad. They looked about early to mid 60's. The guy sits behind my dad and really leans back. My dad is 6' 2 and needs a lot of leg room. The guy gave him virtually none. I usually prop my toes up against the bottom of the seat, it's odd , but that's how I sit usually. I squirm a lot when I sit or lay down, it takes awhile for me to get comfortable. I'd move my feet out from the seat slightly and it'd rock. The woman in front gave me a look the first time. I didn't realize I did it. The second time, she turned around and said "Stop kicking the seat!" I said I wasn't which was true. I moved my toes and the slight moved back less than an inch. I did it once more and she turned around and told me to stop kicking again. Meanwhile, my dad was squeezed in 2 inches of leg room. He went up to go to the bathroom, trying to manuever out of his seat without hitting the guy. When he came back, he pushed the guy's seat forward to get in. The guy turned around and said "Stop kicking my seat." My dad said "Give me some leg room and I won't". When the movie ended, I pushed both of their seats as I got up. People like that do not belong in a movie theater.

Batman Begins: This was my 2nd time with my friend who is also a big Batman fan. Unfortunately, we had to go during a busy time and the theater was packed (first Saturday for an 8pm showing). There was this woman next to my friend who came with a bunch of kids. I saw potential for it being annoying but didn't do anything. During the movie, the woman's cell phone rang. She picked it up and answered it. My friend grabbed her cell phone, turned it off, and gave it back to her. He said to her "Just watch the movie, miss." She was so shocked at what happened, she put it back in her purse and went back to watching the movie.

Once I read the line "So the movie ends and we all start shuffling out of the theater and the black lady comes out of nowhere and punches the "Shhh" lady in the face about 5 times", I starting laughing because I honestly didn't expect THAT. It was out of nowhere.

Anyways, I don't remember being in a theater with annoying people. I guess my worst experience was when I went to see Twister at some rundown old school theater and throughout the whole movie I felt something hitting me. My parents told me it was the air conditioning but whatever it was, it was annoying.

Also, not really a bad experience but one time I went to see Garfield: the movie and these two guys in front of me were deaf and were speaking in sign language to eachother throughout the whole movie so it was kind of distracting.

That could have been Morg for all you know.

This wasn't in a movie theater, but it involves a movie nonetheless.

I was on a plane, and the in-flight movie was Twister. About halfway through the movie, the plane started hitting some heavy turbulence. God that was scary ****

I used to work at a theater where my best friend was the manager. I'd come in wasted all the time and just watch movies all day while my "co-workers" actually worked.

So somehow I was sitting in the back of "Sense and Sensibility" and I passed out drunk right in front of the door.
I was in a peaceful slumber and was awakened to see a hundred people waiting there and an old, angry man kicked me to wake me up, saw my uniform and told the manager to fire me.

Da Vinci Code: some idiot seating besides me was talking out loud in his cell and then he started reading the subtitles out loud

13 GOING ON 30:( watching it with my mom)20 minutes into the film the power goes off n then it started raining when we got out

Van Helsing:went to see it with a friend of mine,he went to the bathroom at the beggining of the movie, came back like half n hour later, some kids were screaming and throwing popcorn everywhere and my left again. Not only did he left me hanging with those kids, he tells me that the movie looked like wrestling!

Spider-Man 2:a kid was kicking my chair every 5 minutes!

briget jones' diary 2

the cinema was filled with giggly middle aged lonely women who found EVERTHING FUNNY and could reference every single scene (even the jail one) to some point in their lives.

not really a bad thing but i found the constant laughter at non funny points very tedious about 4 mins in and i wanted to explode for the rest of the time.
