I will be taking off for chicago within the hour, so I just made what will liklely be the last update to the first post, and I'm reposting it here so anyone who ignores the title of the thread can see it, hopefully.

Gather with 300 of your closest friends at this exact spot on April 28th. You'll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you're there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we? Here is what we know: The starting location is within walking distance of the Navy Pier IMAX that screened the Prologue as part of the Viral.

Undoubtedly one of the Pier's BIGGEST attractions is the 440-seat Navy Pier IMAX Theatre. Featuring Chicago's largest flat movie screen-a soaring six-story, 60 x 80-foot screen designed to enhance both 2D and 3D films.

The head of a movie website received a package with a Joker mask, a joker card with a stamp and a note. Thanks to ZapRowsdower we now know that the note says "Things really start at 6:30, but 5:30 if you want to act like a clown." The hunt will last about an hour. The capitalized words in the description suggests a screening of the new trailer. The IMAX on Navy Pier will be available at 6:32.


Here is what we think: There will most likely be 440 stamped joker cards given out, and probably some joker masks, and maybe some other goodies. You will most likely need one of those cards to get into a screening of the new trailer. For a hint as to what the hunt might be like, check out the wiki on the San Diego hunt from last summer.

The Idea: We are looking to coordinate anyone on the SHH boards who is planning to participate on the ground Monday in Chicago, and pair them with an SHH member who can work with them on the online component of the challenge. The goal is for every SHHer on the ground to be on the phone with another SHHer on the website, with all the goons on the ground working as a team, and all the oracles on line in a common chat room working as a team. With that kind of organization I think we can ensure that our members are able to get in on any kind of rewards there are to be had, both on the ground and on the web. We're back to a 1:1 goon to oracle ratio, great work people! If you are interested in joining us, just let us know how you would like to participate!


The Rally Point for Goons: The fountain in front of Navy Pier, the game will start at 5:30 PM on Monday, but we will meet between 4:00 and 4:30PM! PM me your name, phone number, and how we'll recognize you so we make sure no goon is left behind!


The Rally Point for Oracles: Oracles will all join an IRC chat for Chicago Oracles, set up by cinematheque. Ideally Oracles should start to gather around 4:00 to get in contact with their goons and fellow oracles and work out any kinks before the big show. Make sure you PM Cinematheque about the details of the chat.

Me and my friends are gonna work together, and I'll be the orcals main contact. I think its easier this way. Only downside is IF we find whatever it is were looking for...I'm sure a hardcore war of RPS will decided who gets it.

I think that is a good idea, if an oracle goes down we should help out the next person in line, instead of everyperson for themselves. This will probably make things run smoother.
