If the answer to all of those is no...I dunno...that's a bit pathetic to me. Maybe I'm just a cold hearted bastard, but, that's what I think.
As for the movie, I might see it, but only if I'm with someone that wants to see it--I'm not really interested enough to get off my ass and go see it myself.

MaskedManJRK said:I said I understood if you were there or had a loved one there on that day, I'm just saying...like...the soccer mom in Tennasee that has nothing to do with it whatsoever really shouldn't be so overtly emotional about it.

maybe in 20years this movie could work.....
Milkman95 said:It doesn't matter where you're from - human loss is human loss, it's emotional regardless.
Unless you're a prick, you'd feel at least something from a movie like this........
MaskedManJRK said:To me, it's really just the difference between this and United 93.
WTC, while about real people, has a few major stars in this (Nicolas Cage is the leading one here, from what I can tell), and I feel that kind-of diludes the emotion for me--I'm seeing the guy from Con Air trapped under a building, not a real person. (However, the guy that's kind-of co-staring with Cage, the Mexican looking one, that guy got to me a bit)
United, on the other hand, I got the emotion from, mostly because these aren't big stars doing the movie. The actors there look like regular schmos like you or me.
I think that's why I didn't really feel much from WTC--because it's Hollywood, and though when played right, it can feel real, and it doesn't feel fake, it's just...average.
Or maybe I am just a prick, I dunno.
