Sequels X-Men 5 Roster

I really want another OT film so Rebecca Romijn can come back. As far the X-Men go I want:

Professor X
Cyclops (make him the leader)
Jean Grey/Phoenix
Storm (co-leader)
Beast
Wolverine (tone down his role/screen-time)
Rogue (actually develop her character and make her stronger)
Iceman
Shadowcat
Colossus
Gambit
Psylocke
Nightcrawler

Exactly what I want to see
9 x-men members we have at the end of DOFP + Gambit Nightcrawler Angel Psylocke !

I semi agree with your list. Just not the "Cyclops being the leader" part. I really want Rebecca Romijn to come back. That really needs to happen.

Actually its 10 if you count Xavier.

But yeah those 10 + those 4 would be awesome! :woot: Those are basically the most essential members of the X-Men.

MAIN TEAM:
Professor X (Go Stewart!)
Cyclops (leader type! And please no more love triangle between Jean and Logan)
Jean Grey (stronger, but not Phoenix levels)
Storm (would love to see more of Storm's powers. Go, Berry!)
Rogue (no need for the flying Rogue version. Would love to see a more tactical and empowered Rogue who gets to absorb powers and use them strategically)
Colossus (Hell yeah, Cudmore! A little more lines and clobbering time, please!)
Shadowcat (would love to see Kitty phase through machines and destroy them just like in the tv series!)
Beast
Wolverine (I love Jackman, but please tone down his role lol)
Iceman (More ice slide!)
Nightcrawler (more combo moves with the rest of the team!)
Dazzler (err, about time?)

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM:
Blink
Warpath
Sunspot
Bishop
Jubilee (about time, too!)

ANTI-HEROES (who later helps the X-Men):
Magneto (McKellen!)
Mystique (Rebecca!)

MAIN VILLAIN:
Onslaught

I know these are a lot of mutants, but I am thinking of splitting this movie into two parts. LOL. Have the new mutants like Blink, Sunspot, help the main team in the 2nd part.

Towards the end, there should be insane team work and non-stop action scenes to defeat Onslaught.

I'd kill for Fassbender's Magneto with Rebecca's Mystique. The chemistry could be sizzling!

Main team:
Wolverine
Cyclops
Storm
Jean Grey
Rogue
Beast
Iceman
Shadowcat
Colossus
Professor X

New possible additions to the X-Men:
Nightcrawler (if possible)
Gambit (if possible, played by Channing Tatum)
Angel
Psylocke

Villains:
Apocalypse and the horsemen
If not, Mr. Sinister and the Marauders

I'd rather like to see a new x-men movie instead of useless project like Deadpool of X-Force which i dont care about. They made DOFP to modify events of X3, bring back x-men who died from Dark Phoenix and Sentinels, in order to make again a movie including original cast possibly.
They must make a new x-men which takes place 20 years after Apocalypse in this fact original cast members (James Marsden, Famke Janssen ....) will able to reprise their role.

Yeah and it would be such a waste not to do a movie again with them. Like they could have ended the film with the future as a mystery like in the comics but they didn't. So I really hope we get to see them again.

And I don't think Deadpool is a useless project but in my opinion, Fox should just concentrate on X-Men. Personally, when it comes to comics, I don't buy any spin-off title unless there's a cross-over. And in movies, I want them to stick with the core X-Men films, rather using their time/money on spin-offs.

A future x-men movie with your avatar as poster. that is my dream.

I totally agree!

For sure, the next step in X-Men is taking it to space. 1) X-Men is sci-fi, 2) it has loads of space stories and 3) not many comicbook movies have gone that way.

Team Roster:
Prof X
Cyclops
Beast
Wolverine
Storm
Rogue (with Ms. Marvel powers)
Gambit
Beast
Psylocke

*Imagining kick-ass space suits*
Also, can't help thinking of Gravity for some reason.

When I think of X-Men going to Space, I can't help but to think of Star Trek.

How about this idea...

The X-Men Apocalypse movie that takes place in 1983 includes a younger Storm, Jean, Scott and Nightcrawler. We get to see Xavier, along with Beast, go out and find them and bring them together. We could actually see Beast develop the Danger Room and even give Scott his ruby quartz glasses. Gambit would be in this one as a mid-20's character (which fits for Tatum), as compared to say mid to late teens for the others. His relationship is kind of an older brother/friend to Storm, and they meet on the streets in Cairo. The Horsemen are the main threats, with Apocalypse controlling them. Make Wolverine the Horseman Death or have Apocalypse kidnap baby Warren (who would be a new born in 1983) and transform him (including aging) into his Horseman Death (that way we get Archangel).

Three years later we get a late 1990's set X-Men with the following line-up:

Professor X (McAvoy - he'd have to be bald now)
Beast (Nick Hoult)
Cyclops (Actor from Apocalypse)
Jean (Actress from Apocalypse)
Storm (Actress from Apocalypse)
Nightcrawler (Actor from Apocalypse)
Gambit (Tatum)
Wolverine (Jackman

The villains would be:

Mystique (Lawrence) and her Brotherhood

Members would be:

Avalanche
Destiny
Rogue (I know, I know, we'll get to it) - likely would have to be a recast

And some questionable ones:

Toad (maybe)
Blob (he's possible, right - done better this time?)
Pyro (Is that asking too much)

It would also be possible for her to use other mutants that she freed, including:

Havok (boy, he'd be like 55 years old - ok, maybe he's not included)
Ink
Wasn't there another?

Of course there could be another, larger threat, that the X-Men (and maybe the Brotherhood) have to face. Many good storylines could be used, including ones that have to do with Destiny's Diaries (the Books of Truth). That's a good name for the movie actually...

Maybe Exodus and the Alcolytes, or even Magneto and the Alcolytes could work as the real villains.

Anyway, why have Rogue with Mystique?

Well, the events inbetween 1973 and 2023 are really up for grabs. Other than ages of characters, which should be finite, the specifics can change. That means that we could have Rogue being raised by Mystique, just like in the comics. During one of the early battles Mystique could prompt Rogue (who would be like 15 or 16 years old) to grab hold of a character who has super strength, flight and invulnerability. Yes, it's likely that they couldn't use Miss Marvel, but why not make one of the Alcolytes fit these powers?

The idea that Magneto has removed himself to Asteroid M and brought with him mutants who want to live "free" is a decent storyline, and keeps Fassbender in the mix.

Some of the main Alcolytes could be:

Fabien Cortez (the real villain)
Delgado
Exodus (maybe in place of Cortez)
Frenzy
Amelia Voght

I just love the idea of having the Rogue we all know and love. The flying, super strength, nigh invulnerable Rogue...

An after credit scene could be the door bell ringing at the mansion and Professor X opening the door to see Rogue standing there...

I always wanted to see Rogue's Brotherhood past and permanent MsMarvel powers on screen, too. Her character is a lot more complex than just thinking about kissing a boy and I think they should portray that on screen someday, especially now that Paquin is no longer a teenager.

When I think of X-Men going to Space, I can't help but to think of Star Trek.

Hmm.. I guess so, in terms of the thrill. However, I think more about the tone and I think of darker stuff like Gravity and Prometheus.

I also don't think they need to go far into space. Something more humanly possible would keep it more grounded.

They don't need to go into space, just with the stories from the comic-books, they could easily stay in Earth for like the next 20 movies.

But an idea of X-Men going to space is always gonna be there because of the comic-books.

^ If they ever get to the point of doing X-Men in space the Asteroid M storyline seems to make the most sense.

Think about how good that story could be...

The concept that Magneto has come to the conclusion that seperating the mutants from Earth is the way to go. Maybe even have one of the X-Men make the decision to go with him (it was Colossus in the comics).

Magneto would have his Alcolytes, with possibly Fabian Cortex as the main villain.

The humans would be scared and feel a need to attack Magneto once again, but this isn't the same old thing as we saw in X1 through X3.

This story could be a huge one for the character of Magneto.

But here's where I get slammed by the lovers of the original cast.

Assuming the Apocalypse movie will be a success, we're going to have at a minimum three new stars (actor/actresses for Scott, Jean and Ororo), along with Lawrence, McAvoy, Fassbender, Hoult and Jackman. Maybe even Gambit (Tatum) and a new Nightcrawler, as well as bringing Quicksilver back.

The point, and I can tell many of you don't want to hear this, is that this "First Class" cast is the one that they will likely focus on. It's unlikely that we'll be seeing another crossover movie, which would need to utilize more time travel. At this point timetravel is naught.

Be honest, when you have Lawrence, Hoult, Jackman, Fassbender and McAvoy; well that's where you focus your time and money. Yes, the original cast had some great and popular actors as well, but if you have to put the original up against the First Class characters, and make a decision to go with just one, well I believe you choose the younger. That is what we'll see for Apocalypse and that is likely what we'll see for any future X-Men movies, which are likely to be 5 years or more in the future.

So if they decide to go to space, or in fact no matter what storyline they chose to go with, it's likely going to be with this cast:

Professor X = McAvoy
Wolverine = Jackman
Beast = Hoult
Scott = new, younger actor
Jean = new, younger actress
Ororo = new, younger actress
Gambit = Tatum
Nightcrawler (hopefully) = new, younger actor

Magneto = Fassbender
Mystique = Lawrence
Quicksilver = Peters
Toad = Jonigkeit
Ink = Lowe

The only real shot for a dual cast is for them to do another time travel story, which would mean Age of Apocalypse, and since this does not seem to be the story they've chosen for this next Apocaypse movie, well it's quite possible we won't get that story ever.

It is possible that they would have Apocalypse escape at the end of this next 1983 set movie in order to come back in a future AOA movie with both casts, but that's a less likely scenerio, unfortunately.

I think this also plays into Kinberg's recent statements about having characters born earlier in this new timeline. If you are going to do more original cast stories then you don't plan to have some of them born earlier as you would want to keep them in the original timeline.

What that means is, and again I know many of you will be upset at this, that Janssen, Marsden, Stewart, Cudmore, Page, Berry, Paquin, Ashmore, Grammer, etc.; are quite possibly never going to be seen in an X-Men movie again.
