Meh. I'm sure there are other, real reasons why Bryan picks his actors. Routh was probably cast because of his resemblance to Reeve, Fassbender was cast because Bryan could tell he was a rising star who's status was about to explode, Hoult is a very talented young actor that any director would be happy to work with, and casting Boo Boo allows headlines like "Twilight star cast in DoFP" to be written to stir up some buzz and we don't even know this scripts interpretation of Warpath. I don't really trust internet rumours.

I wouldn't really count Cudmore in the list of older actors considering he was only like 21-22 when he was cast for X2 (gained he was suppose to be like a teenager or something, but, not easy to find a 6'7" ripped teenage)

but, by his own words his audition would suggest he was cast mainly on looks
"They had me flex to the camera in just my shorts. It felt like I was auditioning for a porno!"

It sadly does have alotr to do with his casting. And its slow on news for the moment.

I know this to be true because I have a friend who auditioned for COLOSSUS and they did make him audition in his underwear.

Some of Colossus' comic costumes have basically just been underwear; and his scene in X2 has him topless. I don't see an issue.

I wonder who the humans will be behind the Sentinels. Gyrich and Kelley are both dead.

Also, do we think at the end of the movie we'll see both sets of casts returning to their original/altered timelines? Back in the 70's and today (with Cyclops alive, and Rogue still a mutant - fingers crossed)

My money Is on peter Dinklage playing Boliver Trask.Since In FIlms there Is nothing on sentinles unlike the comics when they did DOFP the twist will be Trask Is working on weapons for the Nixon Government against mutants.Mystique uncercover discovers his weapons.Trask devolps sophiscated designs for sentinles and before time travel happens he was suspose to be killed by Magneto and Mystique In attack on Washington DC.

Eh I didn't have a problem with X3 Trask; if they want to rewrite something from X1, I'd say have Trask and Gyrich work together.

In my deserted X4 I was writing in the past, I had Trask and Valerie Cooper working together on Sentinels.

im pretty sure Rogue is going to have her powers back no matter what... X3 pretty much confirmed that the cure wasn't permanent.

Singer has had casting couch and creeper rumors around him for years.

I don't believe Singer doing the casting couch. He's quite a respected man and I don't think the guys would want to work with him again if they had a casting couch history.

I'm sure casting couch is real since I worked in a TV network as an intern and I heard rumours straight from the crew. But with Bryan Singer, I don't think so.

But thats not casting couch anymore. There's a difference between casting couch than occasionally sleeping with the co-worker. Though of course occasionally sleeping with a writer or a director could give that actor a larger role.

This isnt uncommon in Hollywood and singer has a very lengthy reputation. Doesn't lesson his quality as a director
