Yep in the late 80s all we had were Uncanny X-men, X-factor, New Mutants and Excalibur. There were barely overlapping casts (besides maybe X-men playing minor supporting roles in NM and vice versa) and each book felt different. Best thing was, you didnt really didnt have to follow all of them and the continuity was much easier to peace together. I liked when it was all simple. Even the 90s werent too bad. Its all gone downhill in like the last decade

It makes me laugh that a decade ago Marvel were complaining about too many X-Men titles and cancelled a bunch of them then a few years after that they did the whole 'No more mutants' culling the mutants down to hundreds yet here we are 2011 and there are more X-titles than there was at the turn of the century and there are more new mutants created in the last decade then there was in the 90s

Oh come on man, you gotta understand how that sounds. Warren is now Apocalypse?

Orginal Apocalypse also had a son called Genocide (616 Holocaust) with teenager Famine who now looks about 80 years old for some reason.

Yeah, my mistake. I meant 4 - the conclusion to The Apocalypse Solution arc. Def moment of the year contender right there.

Quire was a pawn, he's a *****e....but still was used by the new Hellfire Club. Beast confuses the hell out of me. He left the X-Men because of X-Force and because Scott allowed it.

Quentin Quire is on Wolverines X-Men.

They should of kept his as a Tetsuo from Akira style villain (uber powerful yet angry, arrogant, immature and destructive).

But Beast left Cyclops' team because of X-Force, so either he has changed or Logan's keeping the X-Force a secret from him.

As long as Beast isn't on the stabby team, I don't see why he'd have a prob being on Logan's side.

I'm just glad Psylocke is getting all this love from X-office editorial. She's been terrific in UXF. The events there already make it clear why she is going to be working both sides of this thing.

I'd rather see Beast on the Avengers full time than getting used in a screwy manner here. Beast knew all about Logan and X-Force and had major issues with both the concept and Warren being a part of it. He was genuinely hurt because Warren never told him he was able to switch back and forth between his light and dark sides. Now he's okay with this?!?!? I for one, hope it's Dark Beast after her gets a bump on the head or something.

It's her involvement on X-Force that needs to be a secret....not the Gischler team.
