Pretty hardcore, I wonder if it's the Iron Giant/Sentinel that's making them fight or if something actually happens in #4 to make them fight? In the recent issue, the Sentinel had some weird magnetic attraction that cause Logan to draw his claws towards Scott.

Nah, no need to kill them both. Just have them vanish in a flash to another time like Reed and Doom did back in FF during the early 90's.

I'm at a complete loss as to what could possibly cause those two to tear their heads off like that. It looks more like one of them loses their mind.....

I guess we will have to wait and see. I def didn't get that vibe from the final roster. Actually I don't know what the hell is going on there. It's kind of an odd lineup really.

i honestly feel as if the writers had a draft and picked people on their teams in order

IMO it seems like people are on teams for no real reason...I would think that if Scott and Logan split the X-men down the middle more of the originals and people with ties with Scott would team with him while the second class and people with ties to Logan would side with him....but in my mind it would have been Scott and Ororo splitting the X-men

The whole thing seems to not make a lot of sense. at this point I'm just glad they're hitting the reset button on the franchise somewhat. I'm rooting for the X-Men to become great again but as a longtime X-Men fan that's been through several of these, I'm very skeptical about this. Is this what it's like to be a hardcore DC fan I wonder....

i realize I am saying this without knowing the context but I dont have a lot of faith since the preview we see Scott and Logan fighting and pretty much ignoring the giant robot trying to kill them

In the past, prior to the other reboots there were extreme circumstances. One time Gambit nearly beat the crap out of Prof X.

i dont think the split will come down to jean, but its always going to be on the backburner.Kinda like Spike and angel over Buffy.

Yeah, I'm doubting it's over Jean but characterization done right I can't help but imagine what they would be brutally beating each other to hell over. Add to that the fact that the folks at marvel have told us, "while some of us agree with logan and some with scott. There will be readers who view it similarly" I'm completely in the dark as to what this could be over.

after closer review and while I love Kubert's art it can be confusing....it looks as if Logan and Scott are fighting over a vial in Logan's hand

The 'X-Men' roster is awesome. Archangel would fit in perfectly. If he wasn't being all evil, that is.
