I'm liking the new Beast design, wasn't a fan of cat Beast. Classic ape-Beast is still my favorite though, but at least now he looks like a freakin' beast. His delts are bigger than young Beast's head!

Are his "powers" still the same? Or is he stronger, faster, more agile?

Generation X 06, um I mean All New X-men 06

I badmouth Bachalo A LOT, but Generation X really is the one thing I think he does fairly well. His style seemed to fit that somehow.

I personally liked cat Beast. I thought it suited his personality more. I just see Beast as... more passive, academic, and poised, which I thought matched the cat look. That being said i don't hate the new mutation. Enough people were unhappy with the cat look so I can see why it's being changed. Maybe the face needs to be drawn differently though? And am I right that the reason he mutated is because the mutation he gave himself (ape Beast) is struggling to dominate his secondary mutation (cat Beast)? I guess that makes sense.

I absolutely loved Jean in the last issue. She was strong and took a natural leading role within the O5. I like that she has a vision for what her role will be now. She's really taking charge, instead of succumbing to the fate of her horrible future. But still, I'm a big Scott/Jean fan, so I'm sad she currently hates Cyclops. Her Cyclops hasn't done any of these things... but i guess its more complicated.

I'm really liking Kitty too.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of Generation X (wow cant beleive its been that long!). Its kinda early but maybe we will see Marvel set the groundwork this year to lead into something bigger for them by 2014. Bringing the characters out of limbo and in many cases back from the dead sounds like a good first step.

Speculating. I heard that book is an all female x-squad..which doesn't make sense seeing as all the female x-men are spread out in x-force, x-men and x-factor

Wow... a Coipel Generation X series would be awesome (if not timely), but no, there's no real hint at that.

It's just the XX teaser by Wood and Coipel. The XX is leading people to believe in a female X-Men book. I'm expecting one led by Rogue since she's not in any X-Centric books. Uncanny Avengers is a mixture story and she's been played up of late. It feels wierd to not have her on an X-Men team.

All those books got cancelled. Legacy got a NOW! reboot and stars Legion as the central character
