X-Men - Part 4

If Marvel wants to get more kids to read comics by using teen characters, maybe they should give their current crop of teenaged character a push. Sure the Young Avengers get plenty of love, but where are the Runaways, Young X-Men, and Avengers Academy kids? How come the biggest push Arana got was being Ms. Marvel's sidekick (nobody even bought Ms. Marvel's comic)? Why aren't Nico and Pixie serving as Dr. Strange's students? Why aren't the younger members of the X-Men being put in the casts of the main comics with the adults? Get on the ball, Marvel.
They are in Avengers Arena, getting ready to be killed off one by one

Two for certain. Another person died in the third issue but it doesn't seem to stick according to solicits. I only bought the first issue but I'm still curious enough to skim at the shop. I figure the moment they reveal (if they reveal) that it's all some virtual reality I'll jump back on for the cast.

So far just two, neither from any of the kids. Issue 3 had some death type things but nothing confirmed so I doubt it. So far I'm surprisingly loving it.

Is Laura in the book yet? This is the only Marvel Now title she's appearing in, right?

X-23. I didn't think to check comicbookdb, but I just read she's been in all three.

She's in it. So far not too much of a role. Holding out with the AA group at the moment. But each issue has spotlighted a character except the first so I'm sure she'll be up soon.

I've never heard of half the kids in Avengers Arena. Victor Mancha from Runaways is getting a Ultron spin off which I hope Henry Pym and Vision show up in.

I still don't understand how Darkhawk is a teenager. Is that possible?

Well technically he has been possessed by an alien entity, and he's not really him anymore, although I don't know that they've ever suggested this keeps him perpetually young.

In the third issue that was brought up. According to AA he isn't and is by far the oldest person there. He remarks that it's hard when you're best stuff happened as a kid and how that's how people think of him. But then he goes on to start organizing people to save lives so he's obviously the adult in the book.

Mystique shapshifted into a girl who looks alot like Antonia Thomas aka Alisha from Misifts. I guess Marquez might be a fan.

Her final form reminded me of her alias Risty from Xmen Evolution

Bachalo's art in Uncanny X-Men his horrible. Not sure why he got this big of a title.

He got to launch Wolverine & the X-Men as well... and I don't get it. I couldn't get into Uncanny X-Men #1 due to his art. His redesigns are horrid and his art sloppy. Fortunately, Frazier Irving is coming soon... who I typically don't care for but could be good.

I used to really like him but he seems to be degrading. I find his panels very confusing at times. :( Just as well I skipped this book.

The art wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I was able to make everything out ok haha. I wish they had an artist that fit the book's tone though.
