X-Men - Part 6

I suspect it'll be some time in the Fall.

If you ask me, Summer 2017 should be an Inhumans vs. X-Men event and they should reveal it then, but I know the fan backlash would be overwhelming long before that.

All I know, based on the previews, this week's All New X-men is a Wolverine and the X-men reunion. Hell yes.

All New X-men is so underrated.

I'm sick of them teasing what Cyclops did. Seems like both Scott and Emma are out of commission until the reveal. Not worth it.

Three team books means the X-world is easy to keep track of but I'm missing a lot of characters.

I read Uncanny 600 and the three regular titles up to their latest isusue and I also looked at Wikipedia of the other characters for some info but could anyone list down the X-Men members that haven't return to the comics after Secret's War 8 months later.

Angel, Psylocke, Fantomex, Mystique, Magneto, M, Sabretooth - Uncanny
X-23 - All New X-Men
Storm, Iceman, Magik, Sunfire, Colossus, Forge, Nightcrawler, Xorn 2 - Extraordinary
Cyclops - Unexplained death
Emma - Unexplained
Shadowcat - Guardians of the Galaxy?

So what about Beast, Polaris, Cable, Longshot, Dazzler, Gambit, Jubilee, Rachel, Hope, Havok, Banshee, Rogue, Bishop, Firestar, Blink, Marrow and Lockheed?

Beast is in Uncanny Inhumans, Dazzler is on A-Force, Cable and Rogue on Uncanny Avengers.

Thanks! I heard that Dazzler is dying now from the Terrigen Mist, I wonder if they will really kill her.

Personally, I think that'd be a cool idea!

Like if I could only go back to the past and magically have all of the issues (now & then) of a superhero or a team (other than X-Men and the other X-books), I would choose Inhumans to read from the very 1st issue. Though outside of Royal Family the other/newer Inhumans don't interest me so I don't bother reading the new Inhumans comics. But Black Bolt, Medusa, Triton, Crystal and the rest of the Royal Family are interesting to me.

I am really tired of Cyclops dying in everything. One-shots, events, alternate universes, noodle incidents they won't explain for months on end, ect. :cmad:

I like the lineup for Extraordinary.

Decipher this imagery now! Who's X?

And anyone liking Apocalypse Wars? Its like three separate stories just with different version of Apocalypse in each book? I'm not digging it.

Rich Johnston has gotta do a jig every time he sees this teaser

"I told you Marvel hates the X-Men!! Look, they're killing the whole line!"

I'm actually looking forward if they would dare to kill an A-lister because of the Terrigen Mist.... I just hope if they do that, it would be executed very well.

It's like they think we still care about death in the Marvel Universe.

I am impressed that they haven't undone Jean's death yet. They have gone pretty far, bringing back Madelyne and then the past Jean, but not quite stepped over to bringing original Jean back.

Yeah. It's annoying. Especially coupled with how they've handled Cyclops also.

I thought people liked terrorist Cyclops.

Cycops has gone through numerous changes since Jean died. Some aspects were liked and others were hated. Overall, the character went downhill and only started to recover during Uncanny X-men vol 2, under the writing of Gillen and Bendis in the early issues of Uncanny X-men vol 3

Last time I liked or cared about Cyclops was in Whedon's Astonishing X-Men run. I never liked any of the terrorist stuff. It felt thoroughly wrong for Scott to abandon Xavier's dream, no matter the circumstances. He wasn't only Xavier's most devoted follower, he was a genuine hero in his own right. Pretty much as soon as he created X-Force, I stopped paying any attention to him at all.

I like the idea of Cyclops rebelling, sort of like a questioning of his own faith in a way, but not actually becoming a terrorist.

I love revolutionary Cyclops.

Been waiting for Jean's return for half my life lmao. All the teases over the years...

I liked and understood the path Cyclops was going down, that led to Schism. Those final steps to becoming a full blown terrorist is tough, though.

Still don't know what killed him or what he did to make him even more hated than he was during Bendis' run.

Nah, it made sense the way it went down. He was broken and learning that Xavier was this shady character kind of crush his faith in that dream which he followed blindly and loyally. It was one revelation after the other with Xavier and Scott was especially affected when he learned that Xavier not only recruited his younger brother, but got seemingly killed and then erased Scott's memories of all that.

Mutantkind was nearly eradicated and the few that were left were being targeted and murdered. Xavier's dream was no longer practical and change needed to be done or else they'd be killed off. I hated him being a part of X-force when it happened but looking back in hindsight, that needed to happen.

What did Cyclops ever do that was full blown terrorist though? He challenged the Avenger's hypocrisy, saved mutant lives on TV and announced that he had zero tolerance for discrimination against his people.
