I don't mind Central Park. They are there legally as long they pay rent, which is something that challenges Kitty's leadership. Maybe it will be a bad decision in the long run and it will add drama to their lives. It's kinda funny, a year ago the rumour was that all mutants would be relocated off planet and now the X-mansion is right in Central Park.
Storm's characterization is a consequence of the editorial mandate that the X-men "lost" in IvX, both physically and morally. Obviously this is complete BS. I don't mind Storm here as much as I hate how Extraordinary squandered Storm's leadership. Cyclops was leader for like a decade, Storm deserved that treatment too. As far as powers go... I thought she was cool. Storm fans are never satisfied with her feats.
Technically that is absolutely true, but I also don't really see it like that. They came from a place where they were X-Men, but here they are mostly just a group of lost people. The whole time displaced characters thing has never really worked for me though, so I might be a bit biased. I want to give X-Men: Blue a fair shot though. Maybe they will pleasantly surprise me. The fact that Blue and upcoming Iceman are not using the same version of Iceman does annoy me though. The O5 are most definitely X-men. They literally are THE originals

Marvel Comics young superhero team of Champions formed in the fallout of Civil War II, when Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Ms. Marvel and Nova found themselves disenfranchised with their adult teammates on the Avengers. They were joined by the Hulk (Amadeus Cho), Cyclops and Viv Vision as they set out to bring positive change into the world.
Soon, the teen heroes will be put to the test when Marvels summer blockbuster event, Secret Empire, kicks off in May. The events writer, Nick Spencer, and Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso divulged to Entertainment Weekly just how big a role the Champions will play.

Our youngest characters, and in particular the Champions, are gonna have a really central role in the event, Spencer revealed. They seem to be in a perfect position to pick up the torch here when a lot of the other heroes maybe werent in the best shape. They would really be the ones to keep up the fight, who wouldnt want to give up in the face of this.
Alonso added, I want to stress though that it is a universe-wide event that involves all of the heroes. Theres Avengers, Spider-Man, Deadpool, X-Men. Everyones got a role in this. This is very much a point where the heroes have to rally, get past minor differences, and deal with a real relevant threat. Its all black and white, no shades of gray.
It seems that many of the heroes in the Marvel universe will be left shellshocked once Captain America shows his true allegiance to Hydra. The Champions youth may be their advantage, as they will be able to quickly brush off the initial surprise of Caps betrayal and get down to the business of fighting back.
Though the Champions are central to Secret Empire, Alonso makes sure to stress this is a universe-wide event that will pull in heroes from all corners of the Marvel universe. Where Civil War II saw heroes fighting heroes, Secret Empire will be a rallying call for everyone to put their differences aside for the greater good.
Secret Empire will follow up on the conclusion of Civil War II, which saw Steve Rogers now a double agent working for Hydra after having his reality manipulated by a sentient Cosmic Cube assume command of S.H.I.E.L.D. Likewise, we know Cap will no longer be working in the shadows, and the series will serve as a culmination of the events from titles such as Captain America: Sam Wilson and Captain America: Steve Rogers.
Gold was pretty good. The team was cohesive and Guggenheim gets the voice of the characters. This was baaaaasic, but I don't think it's such a bad thing for one title in the relaunch to remind audiences of the X-men's roots and the ABCs of being a mutant. The art was the weak link, though.
I'll also be getting Blue, Generation X, Jean Grey, Iceman, Astonishing, and maybe Cable when they come out.
https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/0...-christian-jewish-messages-weeks-x-men-comic/Yeah I think some of the art wasn't all that good. Though I like that it was pretty basics, back to the roots, and fairly self aware of the position that X-Men comics are in right now. It's a good approach.
hmm butit's notthe same type and i thought that was purged of her body during it's first run oh with those were that twins and mentet was seprate thing fromthe twins posing as her.I am excited to see what will happen to M in Generation X. I hope they could redeem her after turning herself into like a vampire, well Jubilee experienced that as well so it would be interesting how Jubilee would help M.

There are some who are still looking for messages in the comic and believe that this image below, could be interpreted as a hidden message of a German Christian character striking and American Jewish character.
How that passed the editorial team is beyond me.This mess is getting worse

Well, well...Stating that were not to believe everything we read in the media or on social media, but that we should pick up the first print of the comic as the messages will be removed in future printings, and it will be a rare collectible.
And indeed I have received reports of retailers who tell me the comic sold out yesterday, after a sluggish launch on Wednesday, as people came into stores specifically to buy this issue.
How that passed the editorial team is beyond me.
Well, well...![]()
