Ugh. The worst critics are the film snobs who think they're so above the movie they're watching because it's an action movie.

Oh there's an assclown like that for every paper, which is why i don't bother reading reviews anymore.

So what's the Phoenix Effect we've heard so much about so?

I dunno. Simon and Zak made it clear that something mindblowing was being developed for her effect. For it to not be present in this film seems fishy to me.

I thought Famke would get more screentime...that can't be right if she doesn't... I mean this is her movie...and she does carry most of the emotional weight in this one. I'll believe it when I see it.
acording to the screenwriters famke has a much bigger role than wolverine

ya peter jackson's company is supposed to be working on the phoenix effect right?

It's highly possible this 'reviewer' posted 1) What is known or 'known' about the movie and 2) What we've seen so far in clips, bits, tv spots and trailers and forming them together just to be the first website to have a review up for a movie such as X3. There are plenty of websites that would stoop that low.

Agreed. I heard reviews start tomorrow night...

It's still frustrating that nobody will give a straight answer involving Cyclops...

So how did this guy write his "review" if screenings don't start til tomorrow?

I have no idea.

It seemed like the review was tailored to piss off fans.

"The movies actually has a lot of death’s in it, and so with certain characters out of the way, Storm and Wolverine take control of the team"

"(and perhaps more than just a sentinel head)".

FAKE.

The imdb reviewer says Scott bites it in the first act...if you believe the person.

Exactly - Kinberg said it'll be something people will definitely remember from X3. Now if Phoenix just touches someone or stares at them and become ashes that's hardly memorable!

Yes, the whole mind-blowing Phoenix effects. I call BS and say this guy just had the TV spots and trailers on re-run on his computer.

It seems legit, but who knows.

or who cares for that matter.... like this is going to stop any of us from going to see it or have a mind of our own.

He said Colossus has barely any more scenes then X2. But the FX guy said he fights Juggs, plus he has been seen at the funeral, the DR, the final battle, I mean he is wrong.

I call BS.....yet again!:rolleyes::mad:
Colossus' role has been described as MUCH bigger than X2 and he's at the centre of the action sequences, hardly sounds "tiny" does it?!

It hardly seems like it. If he IS legit, he obviously must have not been paying attention cause there are tons of real exactly non-fake info that contradict him

The fact he said Phoenix and Rogue get barely any screentime is ridiculous! They're at the core of the emotional plot of the movie!

And I also call bull on his '2 month in advance' V for Vendetta review.

Funny how AICN also had a 2 month advanced review of it.

Thats what I keep saying this is HER movie... Not his movie...HER... H E R... J E A N... P H O E N I X...sorry... Im just -sighs deeply- Shes the only reason I became more of a royal fan of X-Men. Plus she has a dark side aspect to her, like Anakin had. Plus Famke is really good at what she does and I can't see anyone else playing Jean/Phoenix. Famke has that dark side aspect to her that Even a Guy like me can't resist. The dark side is tempting...it is useless to resist. Its a powerful tool but if you use it to an extent in order to fulfull your needs to become stronger, it'll corrupt you emotionally and destroy the ones you love who care about you. Seductive is another aspect...which unlocks your desire for that person whom you once felt attracted to and felt for...

anyway. ... erm. yeah.

But I could have given that type of review just off the tv spots, trailers and the rumors circulating around.

Its not that hard, I could have a review up like that in mins.

This is the perfect time to post a fake review... right before screenings are scheduled to happen.

Thats why I prefer to wait for others to sprout up with continuity before i believe anything.

This smells fishy ... here's why! The Dutch article first , below will be my translation. Its from a e-mail I got.

"De review die gepost is op FI-SCI.COM komt niet echt helemaal in de buurt en laat niet veel los op het gebied van spoilers. Misschien maar goed ook , maar van wat ik gehoord heb is dat er GEEN screenings voor 15 Mei plaatsvinden. Het is maar dat je het weet!"

Translation

"The review posted on FI-SCI.COM does not come close to the final product and doesnt reveal my spoiler-wise. Which is a good thing though , but from what I've gathered on information there wont be any screenings before May 15th. Just so you know!"

-----

Has this site been legit before? Or has there REALLY BEEN a press-screening we didn't know about?

Nontheless , I think a 7 out of 10 is not bad ... and not bad at all!

X-MEN got a 6/10
X² receives an 8/10
X³ receives a 7/10*

*UNCONFIRMED REVIEW

I'm starting to doubt the IMDB review as well, he claims Juggernaut says to Kitty "I'm the Juggernaut, *****!".

"The Juggernaut *****" video is only like, 2 months old isn't it? Did they have any pickup shots around that time? Even if they did, the fad would have had to pick up a little more steam I think to even get noticed in time.
