I hate it when reviewers get Princess Leia mixed up with Amidala... they call Amidala a princess when in fact she's a Senator in ep2 and 3. And now they're doing the same with...well spelling Jean's name wrong. Gene? get it right. lol

Plus, the film was shot digitally. It doesn't take as long to splice snippets back in to the film if it's digital.

I believe a director decides wether or not the film is finished instead of the studio The studio only cares about the money. But your right concerning Mr. Lucas. He can do whatever the hell he wants to do without anyone interuppting :P I do believe X³ was shot digitally aswell ... but cant remember that. Almost every movie is since Lucas introduced the idea

X3 wasn't shot digitally.

But my point was that Lucas has the means to make sudden changes at the last minute with his film because he answers to no one. Ratner, on the other hand, answers to Fox. If they say we want the film by May 1, that's it. It has to be done. No more changes because they have to do all the international prints and such.

To tell you the truth, because of doing international dubbing and making enormous amounts of prints for this film, this film was probably finished in the last week of April.

For those upset about the possibility of Cyclops dying, does't the imdb review at least give some of you hope? I mean, it's pretty clear(to me anyway) that the hospital scene he's describing after the credits involves Cyclops in some capacity. They probably shot that scene just so he can come back if there's an X4 and to appease all the fans upset about him dying.
