X-Men The Official Game: Stuck with Wolverine in Holding Pens

I always make threads like these... I feel so helpless.

Ok, the problem is, after I get through the hallway, I always get swamped by HYDRA gaurds and I die during the second wave of enemies because I lost health too quickly.

I know combos are supposed to work in this part, but I'm on novice and I'm having great difficulty. Any tips?

I am using a guide, but that's not my problem. How do I kill these guys!?

can't believe i actually wasted 4 hours of my life beating that game just to get the story of why nightcrawler left...the game is shallow.

Games based on Marvel characters tend to have that effect.....several hours of wasted potential.

There are some (Very few) exceptions.

with the last few Marvel games that've come out, i'd have to disagree: X-Men Legends 1 & 2, Spider-Man 2 (and Ultimate, though it should have been much much better, still a fun game IMO),Hulk Ultimate Destruction, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance...i'd say Marvel is having a pretty good track record minus Nemesis and X3 the game.

Also Punisher, from what I understand was pretty good also.

Don't forget: Wolverines Revenge...that game was just as bad, if not worse than X3.

Punisher was pretty badass for what it was. The punishments were fun as hell...the game was just a bit limited...it had kind of a movie franchise game feel to it.

and how could i forget Wolvie's revenge ...i actually beat that one too...it showed some promise, it had the right idea...but the wrong execution, ESPECIALLY with special move system...how crappy was that. If they were to make a Wolverine game that played like MGS, that would be so amazing...with the stealth, the variety of sneaky stuff and kills..giggity giggity

At least my expectations weren't too high with Superman Returns. So in the end I thought it was an ok movie. But X-Men 3... wow... that flatout sucked.

what few tips I did receive weren't too helpful (thanks for trying anyway)

and I won that level a few days ago

couldn't log on because of a virus on my computer.....

and now I'm returning the game so I can get Ultimate Alliance.

(already beat X-Men Legends 1 & 2, and Wolverine's Revenge sucked)
