Thanks everyone for the well wishes and kindness. It means alot. I'm holding up okay. I was prepared for this, I'm still quite emotional, but I was prepared.

To a certain degree I think it helps some when you know it's coming. It was easier for me when my mom had cancer than when my step dad had a heart attack and it was so abrupt and sudden. At least with my mom I had a chance to say goodbye.
