Pitt plays Death/the Grim Reaper in the film. He wants to take a holiday and experience life, but to do so, he needs a host body. So he chooses Brad Pitt, and in order to posses the body he needs to kill him. So this happens.

I like how threatening the kid didn't turn out at all how Carol was expecting.

Carol: Keep your mouth shut and I'll make you cookies. Spill the beans and I'll tie you to a tree and let the walkers have you.
Sam: Uhh... okay.
*the next morning*
Carol: What are you doing in this house, Sam?
Sam: You said you would make cookies, where are the cookies?
Carol:

Hey, what can you say? She makes good cookies. It's what they teach you in grade school.

Teacher: Kids, never talk to strangers. Especially when they threaten to kill you.

Kid: But what if they make really good cookies?

Teacher: Well then, that's okay.

I think the kid sees a strong woman where it appears his mother has been weak. The kid is now looking to her to see if she can be strong enough to fight back against his father.

My mom and I were cracking up at Carol last night.

It would be interesting if they throw a twist in there and the father isn't actually abusive and Carol is misreading things. As a victim of abuse, I'm sure she's good at recognizing it, but anyone can be wrong. The kid and the mother certainly don't look like they've been physically abused (no visible bruises)... of course, that doesn't necessarily mean anything, as some abusers are careful about such things.

Or maybe both his parents are sickos and they've got someone chained up in their basement or something.

I love Carol...I don't read the comics, so I don't know if she is a badass in the books, if the character is even alive currently in the books...

Who would've thought she would have morphed into such a powerful character...definitely one of the most memorable TV characters in history.

I smell her becoming a surrogate mother to that boy...I got a feeling his parents aren't going to make it in obviously coming bloodbath...

Carol calling Rick sunshine was hilarious. She had some great lines in the finale.

Carol has become my favorite character on this show, and among my favorite in general. She's proof you can grow a character from being a worthless glorified extra who should've been killed off the first episode and turn them into someone essential to the series.

Now watch them kill her off in the first episode of the next season and completely ruin that.

I hope they don't because she and Daryl still need to get together and have a baby that shows up everyone else on how to kill a zombie with your bare hands (although Rick's handling in the finale will be hard to top).

She really does a great job on TWD. She emotes well. The first time I saw her was on The Mist.

Watching the first 2 seasons again its unbelievable how much her character has developed, she has gone from a nobody to one of the best characters.

Commando Carol returns with a vengeance in "JSS". She was rightfully merciless with the Wolves. I lost count of how many Wolves she took out. And it really said a lot about how she felt about Gabriel when she showed apathy towards saving him from one of 'em.

My favorite part is when she downright shot that wolf that Morgan and Gabriel were trying to tie up.
