You can only wear Abercrombie if the CEO thinks you deserve to

I can only wear flip-flops on short distances - like to the pool, or if I'm running out to get the mail or something. But I'll never get how anyone can wear them all day. They're not even remotely comfortable.

But I love my sandals. Mine are Easy Spirit sandals and they feel like I'm wearing sneakers.
Oh yeah, flip flops when taking showers at the gym. It's crappy work for crappy shoes.

Well, being a guy, I'm not exactly a Lane Bryant expert, but I had a friend who shopped there because she was...how can I put this tactfully...endowed...and had trouble finding certain undergarments in normal retail stores.
I have friends who are well-endowed, and they have to shop at Nordstrom Rack and cross their fingers. :funny:

Then again, these are tiny women otherwise...Lane Bryant means you're well-endowed kind of all over. :funny:

I have Spider-Man flip flops. We were about to go on the water rides at Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios in Florida, and me and my friend's husband didn't want to get our sneakers drenched, so it was his bright idea to get "those cool Spider-Man flip flops".

They turned out to be the most god-awful, sorry excuse for footwear ever invented. I remember at one point, just taking them off and walking through that part of the park without shoes. It was just easier.

I still have them, though. They had Spider-Man on them, after all. :spidey:

In other news: McDonald's refuses to cast overweight people in they're commercials.

Protests ensue.

OH THE ****ING IRONY.

That guy looks like he'd be banned from wearing Sears drip-dry suits, much less his own oh-so-cool brand. His face looks like a bloated Joan Rivers, definitely a case of plastic surgery gone awry. I feel sorry for him and even sorrier for the people who have to see that awful face day in and day out.

That is somewhat sensible Mike D202. You don't want to see unattractive people in a food commercial.

Plot twist: He was never one of the "cool kids"

Have they released a statement since their policy exploded all over every single social networking platform?

I don't think they need to. The writing is on the wall at that place. It's no secret who they target.

How can that guy call anyone ugly? lol

He looks like a body that was pulled out of the Chesapeake after floating around for a couple of weeks. The man needs to at least blot the grease off his cheeks or use a bit of old fashioned Cover Girl powder to mask it.

I just realized something, these are comments this guy made 7 years ago and it's just being talked about now?

Probably because it was old news even then. I don't know why it suddenly got realized now the man is a total ass. Discrimination against looks is permitted only so long as it's weight and attractiveness these days.

This thread honestly turned more into a "Look how ugly this friggin guy is, how ironic" rather than the actual topic of the thread.

I like it this way better :)

Can't get comic shirts from A&F so **** 'em.

Spencer's and Hot Topics is the place to go for those, or at least in my neck of the woods. I never could fit into AF clothes, or Banana Republic, or many of the other stores. My boobs are too big.

Plus I heard their clothes are expensive too. If that's the case then he might as well just say "cool hip and rich white kids".

Rich kids won't shop there, too cheap for them. They shop at Prada or Gucci.

They actually were picketing the Chicago branch earlier today on Michigan Ave.

It's not the first time this guy has made controversial remarks, he's almost ALWAYS being protested by groups. I even read that he only hires male models with pull over vests, shorts and flip flops to work on his airplane. The guy is a complete creep.
