You Fat Basta'ds!

I spend less than £20 a week on food, 40 dollars

why does everyone else consume so freaking much????

The food you buy, does it come ready made? Or is it actually stuff you have to prepare yourself?

I spend 2 pounds on making sardine sanwiches with salad on a daily basis

then i have jacket potatoes with beans, tuna and salad for dinner OR cornflakes

all homemade...

That's why then. Buying raw and fresh produce, that you can cook to you own liking and quantity, is much cheaper. Unfortunately, a lot of people take the easy way out and buy stuff that's ready made and overpriced.

Preparing yourself = Less expensive, more satisfying to eat

Although the dishes do accumulate faster

No offence but the American food does not look healthy at all. Look at all that bright packaging companies use to entice kids to eat their sugar infested garbage.

hahaha, look at all the fruits and vegetables the
other families of the world consume, and all the packaged garbage the American family eats :down

seriously . . . that's what I'm sayin!!

i find this story a little fishy :p

Notice how Americans seem to eat the LEAST amount of fruits and veggies of all the groups..

I don't spend no more than 150 bucks a week because I don't eat that much. I even buy slim fast if they're on sale just to have a snack(that or fruit.)

I can't imagine spending 500 or more a week..I even live with roomates

Alright, it's pretty obvious that the person who did this study is trying to make some sort of statement by alienating people from some countries

whether it's too highlight those at the top ends or at the bottom end.

the case may be that there are some people in the US who have crazy healthy diets and some people in africa that have really poor ones and the monetary balance swings.

perhaps it's just doing that age old thing of pidgeon holing...

Sucks to be you!!!!:hehe:
I've done the research, those food items have the best nourishment value with the minimum cost and also the maximum tastes.

it's the balance of the holy trilogy that will make me live to 100...

I don't blame you. Everything here is always "chop chop!!!" and rushy that most eat Mcdonalds and bags of chips everyday.

Thats why I admire people who can cook :cwink:

Not really. These photos and this study are b.s. made to have the Americans stand out for one reason or another. Just look at how the Americn's food is just thrown randomly all over the table and the other countries are all neatly organized.

True, it appears the Americans have no fruits and veggies but there are veggies on those burgers and pizzas, and in those frozen dinners and canned sauces, and don't forget the canned veggies, the potatoes in the potato chips and fries, the fruits in all those juices.

Trust me buddy boy, America's nutriti:whatever:n is just fine.

Bro, I'll eat sugar all day-every day if I have my way. Sugar don't get moldy or rot.:cwink:

Wow, you're planning on living to 100? You must be more boring than me.

That's why we're always buying over-the-counter medication to regulate our bowels. We don't eat nearly enough fruit.

For real. Especially bananas.
