Interesting note: everyone but Chad has bananas. It's hard to spot in the American photo, but they're right in front of the juice bottles, to the left of the Motts apple sauce. The Polish family has their bananas on the same table as the M&Ms, lemons, and candy bars.

I looked it up. The legal drinking age in Germany is 15. That there is beer for the whole family.

Jesus, the Americans spend almost $400 a week on a family of four? That's almost a hundred bucks a person (I'm horrible at math, I am not dividing 341 by 4) A hundred a week per person? That's what I spend in a MONTH. This is ridiculous.
