There is said to be a bit of a disconnect between Triple H and Vince McMahon right now. A WWE source says this is a reason for the lack of flow in the WWE product lately. It’s not that the two don’t get along because they do, they get along great, it’s just that they don’t seem to be putting their ideas together and making things work as of late.

One example is Big E Langston being the guy that Vince really wants to focus on while Roman Reigns is the guy that Triple H is more set on pushing.

- The recent Big Show vs. Randy Orton feud is considered to be a flop and something that just didn’t work. There had been a lot of second-guessing including people wondering why Triple H didn’t have a match with Daniel Bryan or even Big Show.

- Word is that CM Punk has been noticeably quiet lately. One source says this is probably the smartest thing to do because given the string of bad shows lately, it’s better to just pick his spots.

The atmosphere backstage at WWE’s Survivor Series was said to be negative. There was a lot of tired wrestlers with many looking forward to getting a little bit of a break this week.

Regarding the pay-per-view itself, both talents and WWE officials were negative about how it came off. It was described as almost a situation of where the talents were blaming the writers and the writers were blaming the talents.

Sheamus was backstage and said to be in good spirits. A WWE source joked how it was obvious Sheamus was much better rested than the majority of the other talents.

My reaction to all of this: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Honestly the solutions are actually rather simple but they refuse to see it.

Maybe if the fans keep sticking it to WWE's main event scene, they will realize that it's time for a change not the same old sh--t.

Hey WWE, why don't you gradually push both Roman and Big E? Why didn't you do Show vs HHH or Bryan vs HHH instead of Show wrestling a guy who he's not really feuding with? Can you people chew gum and walk at the same time?

Idiots.

They have to realize something has to change. Fans are pissed, wrestlers are pissed, management is pissed, and Triple H/Vince McMahon are pissed. Why not make a radical change for the better instead of putting on two guys who were in the main event scene when I first stopped watching Wrestling back in 07? Or pushing guys who are not over like Del Rio, Axel and Ryback over guys who are like Ziggler, Rhodes (I know he's Tag champion but he could be doing better), and Sandow? Or constantly shoving the cast of Total Divas in our faces when most fans don't care for the Bellas, even though I hear Brie is actually getting better (don't get me started on Eva Marie)?

Another thing. When is Dean Ambrose actually going to defend that damn US Title and not have the SHIELD interfere at the same time (it's getting old)? NXT at this point has been more interesting. How about putting some faith in some of your top NXT stars and bring a few more up since Bray Wyatt doing well? Stars like Sami Zayn and Paige are ready for call-up.

Amen. Also like Jim Ross once said, Maybe WWE brass should start focusing more on why something COULD work and less on a bunch of reasons for why it might not. That seems to be their mentality when it comes to capitalizing on stars that don't accommodate Mcmahon's affinity.

I don't feel too bad for Cody because he's a part of the really good tag division now. Other than that, I agree with Parker.

If everyone is pissed off isn't that a good enough reason to radically change the way things have been going for the WWE?

Yes but it requires Vince, Kevin Dunn and maybe even HHH to take their heads out of their own asses for two seconds and use their ears for once.

They won't listen.

Exactly.

It's like a car salesman trying to sell a car with inconsistent braking; sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't; and when you bring back the car the salesmen gives you a new motor, air freshener, and even new seats, but still refuses to see to think the breaks are anything less than perfect.

What's funny is everyone seems to hate Kevin Dunn besides Vince from what I've read.

Andy from Parks and Rec describes the WWE Universe:

Sometimes I wish all of us would/could get jobs in WWE Creative because chances are we'd handle things better than a lot of the guys in creative right now.

But, the WWE will do something that makes us say:

I know. I just look at the belt Flair and the Brain used to carry around and compare it to the current belt and it makes me sad. :csad:

It's surprising as well given one thing you can usually count on from WWE is production values and that includes their championship belts.

Well at least they seem to be making things clearly early and trying to get this out of the way now rather than drag it out. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the latter occurs.

I know it's stupid to hope WWE will get it right after so many PPV's in a row confirming our most negative suspicions, I just hope Triple H's promo is an indication that they realize that this needs to deliver, they surely don't want to go into a new year and towards Mania 30 with more negativity hanging over them.

Main Event and Smackdown spoilers from prowrestling.net:

Lilian Garcia welcomed everyone to the show.

Dark Match

1. Justin Gabriel defeated Hunico. Gabriel won the basic house show style warmup match.

WWE Main Event

1. Alberto Del Rio beat Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio won with the Cross Arm Breaker. Awesome match. They really went all out and the crowd was into it the whole time. This was better than their two pay-per-view matches earlier this year.

2. Damien Sandow beat Santino Marella. Sandow won with his You're Welcome finisher. Pretty much a squash. Sandow cut a promo before the match insulting the crowd and calling himself "still the uncrowned world champion." He demanded better opponents.

Triple H cut a promo on the screen saying he wants the titles to be unified at TLC. He wants only one WWE champion. So I guess they are guaranteeing one champion at TLC? I can't see the Titantron from my seat so I might not have gotten the full context of the promo.

3. Kofi Kingston beat Fandango (w/Summer Rae). Kingston won with Trouble in Paradise. Fundamentally solid, but the crowd had no reason to get invested in either man, although the kids got into at the end. No follow up on Sunday's actions from Kofi. This concluded the Main Event taping.

11/26 WWE Smackdown taping spoilers: Full coverage of the taping for the Thanksgiving week show

JBL and Michael Cole came out to announce for Smackdown. Renee Young was in the ring to start. She asked us to welcome her guest, the face of WWE, Randy Orton. She asked about the controversy from Sunday's title match against the Big Show. Orton claimed Big Show hadn't knocked him out, he was playing possum. Orton said he didn't need The Authority to win, and they tainted his victory. Renee then threw to a video package from Raw on the unification match setup. She asked Randy how that made him feel. She kept prompting him with adjectives, but Randy got annoyed with her and left the ring and walked up the ramp.

Vickie Guerrero appeared on the Titantron to talk about Thanksgiving and have the superstars compete in a food eating contest. I couldn't tell who because I couldn't see the screen. Banal comedy.

1. Mark Henry (w/Big E Langston) defeated Curtis Axel (w/Ryback). Henry won quickly with the World's Strongest Slam. Apparently, this tag team feud continues.

Another Thanksgiving skit aired on the blocked TitanTron. It sounded like it somehow involved R-Truth. There were more Thanksgiving skits after a commercial break. Yay. It sounded like Titus O'Neil won some contest and the right to compete against Antonio Cesaro.

2. Los Matadores and El Torito beat The Plymouth Rockers (a/k/a 3MB). Wow, this show is getting better and better. Oh, but El Torito is wrestling and it's a six man tag! Has that happened before? I'm not sure, I usually fast forward though both these teams matches. Los Matodores won quickly, thankfully.

But don't worry! This show is saved! Brodus Clay and Tensai are out! I seriously feel like I'm at a house show right now. But at this point I guess Smackdown is pretty much the same thing.

3. Tons of Funk beat R-Truth and Xavier Woods. Tons of Funk surprisingly won after Brodus splashed Xavier from the second rope. I guess Creed (a/k/a Woods) isn't a priority.

CM Punk was then interviewed by Young. He said he hadn't heard from Daniel Bryan since he was kidnapped. He said he was injured and banged up. Then he said he didn't know why The Shield attacked him. He said that maybe it was because they were carrying out orders from people with authority. Punk didn't really seem to care about the fact he hadn't heard from Bryan.

4. Antonio Cesaro (w/Jack Swagger, Zeb Colter) by Titus O'Neil by DQ. No promo from Zeb. Antonio Cesaro started to spin Titus, but D-Young broke it up for the DQ. Odd. Titus then "vomited" into JBL's hat as a result of the spin. Titus then shoved the hat in Michael Cole's face. Titus then vomited on Zeb. More pointless comedy. Who writes this stuff?

Bray Wyatt gave a promo on the Titantron in which he basically claimed that the Wyatts would turn Bryan into a monster.

5. Cody Rhodes and Goldust beat Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns by DQ to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Lilian gave in-ring introductions, partly to give it a big match feel and partly because the microphone stopped working in the middle of the the Rhodes Brothers entrance. Ambrose was on commentary with JBL and Cole. A solid match, but not up to the par of their previous contests, partly due to the lack of crowd involvement because they were dead for the past hour plus of filler. Cody hit CrossRhodes on Rollins, but Dean Ambrose ran out causing the DQ.

C.M. Punk came win a chair to even the odds, and Vickie made it a six man tag. Punk had the biggest pop of the night by far.

6. C.M. Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust beat The Shield by DQ when The Wyatt Family interfered. At one point in the match, the Wyatt's came out and stood on the stage, drawing Daniel Bryan chants. Then they attacked Cody and Goldust, causing a DQ. The Shield then attacked Punk, and the Usos and Mysterio ran out and made the save.

Vickie made a 12 man tag rematch from last weeks raw, except with Rey Mysterio instead of Daniel Bryan. I'm pretty sure this segment (from the tag title match until now) is gonna end up taking the entire final hour of Smackdown Friday. it's been pretty awesome, so I'm not complaining.

7. C.M. Punk, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Rey Mysterio, and The Uso Brothers defeated The Shield and The Wyatt Family in a 12-man tag match. Very fun match, although another illogical ending with the faces picking up the win after a 619 and GTS combo on Erick Rowan. The faces posed at what I assume will be the end of the television show.

So are Punk and Cena alternating Smackdowns or something now?

I know it's stupid to hope WWE will get it right after so many PPV's in a row confirming our most negative suspicions, I just hope Triple H's promo is an indication that they realize that this needs to deliver, they surely don't want to go into a new year and towards Mania 30 with more negativity hanging over them.

Well the second hour of SD sounds like a lot of fun, I kept changing my mind over what was gonna be booked for TLC as I scrolled down the 3 main event restarts lol.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I have to echo that sentiment, my faith is at an all time low after the post-Summerslam mess.

Do you guys think we should all band together and try to get WWE Creative jobs? Lol

I'm a 22 yr old Convergence Media Major in College so Vince would likely see me as someone he can indoctrinate but I'm sure you guys could qualify in some way as well.

weak

Sweet. Cesaro wrestles Titu- Jesus ****christ why do I even try anymore?

I hate reading results with personal opinions mixed it

Stars like Sami Zayn and Paige are ready for call-up.
I think both of those two would get over super fast as well.
This is what happens when you screw over your rising stars.
For a company that talks about giving fans what they want they sure like to not give fans what they want.
Considering that their gimmick is kinda Deliverance-esque, and Bryan has been referred to as a farm animal before, I'd be a bit worried where this is gonna go....
Squeal goat boy! squeal :wow::cwink:

Considering how Vince is rumoured to treats his employees, runs his business and the amount of staff turnover they have I don't think the WWE is that great of a place to work.

We should join TNA. Dixie has been hoodwinked into hiring worse.
