Name your top 5 posters and if you feel like it, state why they're your favs; also include honorable mentions
I'll go first:
1. Maxwell's Demon - the guy is probably the best conversationalist that I've interacted w/ at the Hype.
2. Kess - An all around sweet person who's always positive
3. DBella - She's pretty good w/ the inside jokes and random tangents
4. Dog Lips - He's always mentioning something that makes me chuckle
5. I thought about this one and it went to Wilhelm Scream: The guy has some of the most ingenius references in his posts. I often laugh at them and don't even make a re: post.
I know of others who made me laugh on a consistent basis: Kipobe, Erzengel, Tuki (for the brief moment that I talked w/ him), and Master Yoda, but I didn't really post or re: w/ them much or at all really, so I elected not to use them in the top 5.
My favorite who I no longer see is probably Equint77. Hands down, he had some of the funniest stories and reminded me of a couple of drinking buddies. Cconn is also one of my faves. I always thought that Phantasm was pretty nice, but her statements were a little too blunt or one-sided. Oh yeah, JLBats (a 15 or 16 yr old? can't remember) puts a lot of older posters(probably me included) to shame w/ his 'Wilhelm jr. like' razor sharp wit. Jag has some pretty clever posts also. Calvin was funny to re: w/ - esp when he was wasted. I went a little over, but you have my tops.
You can also name 5 that you could do w/out if you want: (please keep it clean out of respect for the mods. Thanks.)
My bottom people: I don't really despise anyone and it's virtually impossible to annoy me. Occasionally, I'll shake my head at a GoldenAgeHero thread, but that's about it. I don't dislike him in any way, but when your reason for creating a thread comes from watching a rerun of Judge Mathis, that alone is criteria for a mention in the bottom half. Hey, no hard feelings GAH, I'll probably join you in the bottom half of a few, but that's cool.
All in all, the Hype is one of the better posting spots out there imo; one of my good friends says, it's like 'Hotel California.' Once you visit, you don't want to leave. Too true.
