Avid, you really thought Aqua was the worst episode from season 5!?!

It wasn't the best, but there were others I thought were much worse.

I didnt really hate it by any means. I just found it a little boring. I was supposed to cheer for Aquadude for his beliefs, but I had no emotional attachment to the character going into the episode. He and Lois were the main focus and I just had no vested interest in their plight.

If they had shown us that Clark had begun to think alot more about the world around him because of AC's presence then I think I would have enjoyed the episode more. I just didnt see the effect that AC had on Clark.

Same with Lex. When did Lex care so much about weaponry that he didnt care about the world around him?

Now whatever I felt they did wrong with the Aqua episode, they certainly got it all right with the Cyborg episode.

Victor was a character that I could sympathise with. His story was similar to Clark's. Clark was able to help him and he did good in that episode. Clark showed that he is worthy of being a Superhero.

I could also understand why Lex would want to build a half human half man due to the fact that he is aware of aliens and spaceships. In his mind he is doing what it takes to save the planet.

I do agree out of the Superhero guest spots, Aqua was the worst one, but I didn't think it was the worst of the season. But your right, Cyborg was great.

After re-watching the season (and seeing some episodes for the first time) I don't think Tomb was that bad, Thirst was alot worst. So far to me Tom's best performance was in Vengeance. He really played off Jonathan's loss so well...
